Dr. Len Ciuffreda is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry (1995), where he attended under a full academic scholarship after earning his B.S. with honors in Biology from Bucknell University. He made Deans List all four years, graduating near the top of his class, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Ciuffreda was credentialed as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management in 1999.
The National Consumer Advisory Board has recognized Dr. Ciuffreda as one of Americas Best Dentists for cosmetic, implant and family dentistry. He has also received national recognition as one of Americas Top Dentists for general and cosmetic dentistry by the Consumers Research Council of America, and the distinctions of a New Jersey Top Dentist and Monmouth Health and Life Top Dentist for general dentistry.
Dr. Ciuffreda is the recipient of numerous awards, including the David B. Kriser Award for Compassion, the ASDA Award of Excellence, the Pierre-Fauchard Award, the Arthur N. Caplin Award for Removable Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award. He has been honored by inductions into Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society and Phi Sigma, the Biological Research Society. His research has been published in the Journal of Clinical Dentistry.
Dr. Ciuffreda is proud to be a member of OSAP, the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention which is dedicated to education, research, service, and policy development to promote safety and the control of infectious diseases in dental healthcare settings, and earned his certificate for completion of the OSAP-DALE Foundation DENTAL INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM. Our patients' safety is his top concern!
Maintaining active membership in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Ciuffreda stays current with the latest advances in dentistry by consistently attending post-graduate dental courses and training. He regularly participates in the Forum for Advanced Dental Studies and holds certificates for completion of the Mid-Atlantic Dental Implant Prosthetic Series, the Golden Study Club Implant Series; and the NYU, UMDNJ, and Institute of Advanced TMJ Studies programs in TMJ & Orofacial Pain Disorders.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ciuffreda is very involved at Open Door Bible Baptist Church, enjoys Civil War history, photography, astronomy, spending time with his family and friends, and is a huge Snoopy / Peanuts fan.

I've been going to Dr. Ciuffreda for many years now and he's very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I've actually overcome my fear of the dentist simply because of his stellar and consistent work. I'm also grateful that if I'd like something explained to me, it is done so thoroughly. I highly recommend Remarkable Grins to anyone and everyone!

I have very sensitive teeth. Dr. Ciuffreda, and his team gave me the most gentle, and pain free cleaning I have ever had. Never thought it was possible to do without some type of numbing, but clearly it is, and I am looking forward to my next cleaning

I visited Dr. Len Ciuffreda's office a few days ago for a routine cleaning. I cannot begin to express how wonderful my experience was! Dr. Len is kind, thorough, and professional. His hygienist was efficient yet gentle, which brought me such relief as I have dealt with very rough hygienists at my last dentist office. Even his receptionist is lovely and so on top of things. When you visit Remarkable Grins, you are not just another patient. You are truly cared for! Also, there are a lot of COVID-19 safety measures in place, so this would be an excellent dentist for those who are immune compromised.

My husband and I are very happy with Dr. Ciuffreda. He is a caring and professional dentist, and any cleanings or procedures we've had have always gone smoothly. His staff is so friendly and pleasant, and the office is very clean! Highly recommend!

My mother-in-law saw Dr. Ciuffreda in the office and we were beyond impressed. First, she was very afraid of seeing the dentist in the pandemic, but the precautions taken by the office made her instantly reassured. He is clearly an expert in his field, but more importantly, he is the kindest dentist. He talks to every patient like they are family and is beyond personable. She is still telling everyone about how pleased she was with her visit.

So glad we switched to Remarkable Grins. Dr. Ciuffreda and staff made us I feel welcomed from the beginning. From their Christian music to gallery of Peanuts animation cells, it was a great entry into their offices. But the real story is the service and thoroughness that Dr Ciuffreda provided from the beginning. He was able to help with an issue on a crown and replace it with one that fit like a glove and he addressed a few other issues. So happy to be with this team and plan to be for many years to come.

Dr. Ciuffreda and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was nervous to go to the dentist during the pandemic in general and Dr.Ciuffreda and his staff put me right at ease with all the safety measures they are taking in the office. Everything from extra air filtration to an enhanced suctioning system to make sure there isn't even a drop of moisture in the air! Dr.Ciuffreda has even taken extra steps to ensure he is wearing all the latest PPE requirements and more. Truly felt at ease going to his office to get my teeth cleaned. Highly recommend this incredible office for safety and dental health!

I initially liked the doctor and referred him to family and friends. During my later visits, I was told there is a damage on my molars (which I couldn't see with bare eyes) and needed treatment. I trusted the doctor and let them do what was needed. The lower molar job was so poorly done that it hit my nerve each time I flossed. Went back to the doctor, he dismissed my claim until an x-ray was taken and he found the problem. He removed the filling on that tooth and refilled it. This time leaving so much gap that whatever I eat gets stuck. I was so scared after this experience that I stopped going to them. I'm now in a quest for a better, non commercial doctor.

I wanted to perfect my smile and was led to Remarkable Grins to which I am remarkably happy to have found. The moment I walked in the staff was very nice and considerate to which I was pleasantly surprised from. Needless to say I have a much better smile than when I first came here and I couldn't be happier with how things turned out.
