He obtained his GED early so that he could work as a contractor in Japan also working in California and Texas. He even began a competitive snowboarding sponsorship, but cut it short to serve a Christian mission in England.
After his return, he met his beautiful wife, Jessie, snowboarding the backcountry pass of Jackson Hole, WY. Together, they have 3 children; 10 yr old son, Kai, 8 yr old daughter, Taya, and 3 yr old daughter Trinlee.
Dr. Brown finished his undergraduate schooling at University of Oregon, in Lundquist College of Business Honors Program. After working in business management only a short while, he realized he had not arrived where he wanted to be. After much research, he and his wife realized that a career in Dentistry would fully utilize his various talents and his desire to make a difference. His family gave up a lot to support him through going back to school, but after just the first week, they knew it was worth it. He was almost shaking with excitement when he got home each day.
It was the beginning of a passion. Six years after quitting his stable business job to go back to school, his family celebrated with him as he graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Since then, he has jumped into dentistry, taking countless hours of continuing education in order to fulfill his career aspirations. He has expertly provided all aspects of dentistry to his patients while helping them, through various techniques such as Conscious Sedation, to achieve optimum dental health with minimum discomfort.
Dr. Brown truly enjoys getting to know others and their cultures/beliefs. In his free time, he loves working with his hands, creating/inventing/building things and volunteering for his church and scouting. He likes snowboarding, rock climbing, wake boarding, and almost any outdoor activity or sport. Above all else, he absolutely loves spending time and doing all of the above activities with his wife and kiddos.
As excited as he and his family were to support him in his career dreams, they all felt as though a part of them was being left behind when they left the mountains. Its been a long winding road, and they couldnt be happier that it has ended here in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.
Dr. Brown is grateful to be an integral part of this community and, in fact, Dr. Brown has rapidly become Summit's Top Dentist for many of the more advanced dental procedures. I have had Dr. Brown as my dentist since 2019 and he and his staff have treated me great above and beyond. Today's procedure (11/3/22) was no exception. It was a longer and more involved one and yet I was comfortable and relaxed with minimal discomfort and zero anxiety . From a patient standpoint this is dentistry as it should be practiced!

One of my temporary crowns fell out one morning as I was taking out my retainer. I managed to snap it back on. Of course, it happened on a day that the office was closed. I called the emergency number as I was having some sensitivity and didn't think I could make it through the weekend. While I was holding on the line, the on-call person said the team at Dr. Brown's office was texting back and forth, determining what to do. Jessica and Losh came to my rescue! They both rushed into the office, and I met them there in about 45 minutes. Instead of just re-attaching the temporary crown, they tag-teamed and inserted both of my permanent crowns, which fit perfectly! Jessica even took molds of my upper and lower teeth in the event my retainer didn't fit any more. Thank you to both Jessica and Losh for the wonderful work that they did, especially on their day off! I would highly recommend Dr. Brown's office for all your dental needs!

Relaxation Dental was my dental office a couple years ago before I moved. They really helped then having their own insurance plan, as i had a lot of work to do. I had moved away for a couple years and neglected to keep a scheduled dentist visit, resulting in a filling falling out. I happened to be traveling back through Salida and my vehicle broke down. In the meantime I called Relaxtion Dental and they squeezed me in their schedule. Doctor Brown remembered who I was and helped me out knowing my predicament of car trouble. Could not suggest Relaxation Dental enough. I wish I could have them where I am moving to. Very friendly and professional team.

I have avoided the dentist for well over a decade due to some bad experiences. Relaxation Dental was recommended to me and during my first visit I felt understood and experienced none of the shaming talk that so many other dentists give you when you've neglected your dental health. I have NEVER had a better experience at a dentist! Everyone is so kind and goes above and beyond to help you! I was in excruciating pain and needed two teeth removed immediately, but I'm not insured. They saw me within the hour, came up with payment plans and got me taken care of. I didn't get pushed to the side because I didn't have insurance. I was treated like any other human being. I didn't feel ashamed or embarrassed. I was welcomed and treated with kindness and great care! Thank you to all the staff! - Kitty

After searching for a good dental office I have found Relaxation Dental they have "A Excellent TEAM " from the front office , the hygienists , the techs, and DR .Brown they are all very kind and helpful from the minute you walk in the door they are there to Welcome you and help you With your dental needs. Do not go to this dentist. I was told I had 10 cavities. I went to another dentist for a second opinion who confirmed I don't have any. They give you a nice tour and send you home with a gift to lure you in. However it's all a money making scheme. I would have spent thousands of dollars for unnecessary dental work. This place needs to be shut down.

I've never been one who enjoys going to the dentist. The staff was funny and helpful, And they made me laugh. So I felt a little more comfortable with them at that point. Doctor Brown is very friendly and down-to-earth and I felt like Everyone was very genuine. They also ask you if there's anything they can give you to make you more comfortable, Like a blanket or a pillow. You can also watch TV while you get checked out, So you're not nervous and focusing on the exam. I went in for an appointment and felt like I left with friends. With friends. I recommend 100 times over.

Having dental done in Russia as a child, I have worked hard at dodging the dentist as much as possible. Now needing a full mouth reconstruction I could not have been more lucky to have DR.Brown do the restorative work. He is an artist when it comes to dentistry, thorough and professional. It's his duty to provide the most comprehensive exam to me for the best possible treatment, so I can make an educated decision on my treatment plan. He has worked with me on pricing and cost allowing me to proceed with treatment right away. Going to the dentist hurts in more ways than one, but waiting on your treatment will hurt even more, I realise now I should have listened to my mom and brushed more often. I'm thankful to have found a dentist who will not cut corners because I'm afraid of cost or have dental anxiety. His office has helped me quit smoking cigarettes and encouraged me to live a healthier life by taken care of my self and taking accountability for my treatment. The cutting edge technology they have to provide the absolute best dental care is also amazing! I got to see my mouth scanned in 3D and watch my crown milled all in one day! I highly recommend this office if you seek nothing by the best dental care.

What an experience! This office uses the latest and greatest technology and products the dental industry has to offer. They have a top of the line Crown Mill from Amann Girrbach, and I was able to watch my crown get designed and fabricated while in the office. They scanned my mouth digitally and in seconds started working on my restoration! What an amazing experience, and I can't be more happier to have this kind of service locally.

All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is calming which I need at a dentist office. Dr.Brown is a scientist at heart. He researched and consulted with others to provide just the right treatment for my receding gums. He may be a perfectionist. Doesn't that sound good for the dentist who treats the smile you present to the world?!
