Doctor Laura Cabrera is the owner and head dentist at Relax and Smile Dental Care. She emigrated from Cuba to Miami, Florida at the age of 17 where she finished her High School education. She then received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida International University. Laura went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.

After graduating from Dental school, Dr. Cabrera completed a General Practice residency program at UNLV School of Dental Medicine where she received further training in advanced dental procedures such as implant placement, hospital dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and conscious sedation among many others.

When not in the office Dr. Cabrera enjoys outdoor activities, exploring the city, and spending time with family. Her husband, Louie and dogs, Ricky and Stefanie, live nearby so you might see them pop in from time to time.

Wendy began her dental career over 20 years ago as a Dental hygienist. Her current position at Relax and Smile has brought many smiles to the patients face as she has gained meaningful bonds with her patients throughout the years. She is highly motivated and truly cares about the well-being of each and every patient. Wendys home state is Alabama, which she travels often to see her family. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, long days at the beach, and spoiling her two cats Precious and Princess.

Pedro grew up in Havana, Cuba. He attended the University of Havana, where he completed a degree in Dentistry in 2011. Pedro worked as a general dentist until 2014 when he moved to the United States. Pedro continues working in the dental field first as a dental surgical assistant and then as a licensed dental hygienist in the state of Florida. In his free time, Pedro has volunteered in several health fairs organized to provide dental community services. Through time Pedro has continued to learn and develop more advanced techniques and treatment philosophies to benefit his patients. Pedro is very personable, compassionate, and sensitive to the patients needs. Above all, Pedro strives to help patients take care of their dental needs and maintain high levels of oral health.

Jenny began her dental career over 12 years ago as a dental assistant in Miami Fl. After many years working as an assistant she began to gain administrative abilities as she took different courses on insurance coordinating, billing and business management, certified notary public among other certifications. The most rewarding part of her job is to ensure the best possible experience for our patients. Her priority is to make sure our patients receive quality service and attention from our front office. In her free time, Jenny enjoys crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family, husband, and 3 boys.
