Dr. Rekha Gehani is among the most respected and honored orthodontists in New York State. A 1978 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and a post graduate degree awardee of Columbia University School of Dental and Oral surgery in 1980, Dr. Gehani has been providing outstanding orthodontic care to her patients for more than 30 years. Her long and distinguished career in dental academia began in 1980 at Columbia University where she has served as an educator for more than 27 years and has mentored hundreds of students.
Dr. Gehanis activities on behalf of her community and its children are never ending. Among these, she actively participates in the Give Kids a Smile program, has served as the Chair of the New York Board of Dentistry in 2005-2006, is currently a member of the New York State Board of Dentistry and the Vice Chair of the CDEL Committee of the New York State Dental Association.
Along with her husband, Dr. Chad Gehani, who is currently the President of the New York State Dental Society, Dr. Rekha Gehani has been honored to serve her communitys dental specialty needs in their Jackson Heights office for more than three decades.
We are honored to have a very professional, kind, courteous and dedicated staff to assist our patients. Our staff is fluent in many languages including English, Spanish and Hindi. They are always ready to help you understand your treatment and are there to answer any questions that you may have.

Dr.Gehani is one of the most talented doctors I have met. She is absolutely knowledgeable in her field, and treats her patients with respect and attention. The office is well equipped and the results(my teeth) are beautiful! There is no doubt that I will keep returning to her office, and I highly recommend others to come as well.

I've known Dr. Gehani for more than 15 years through my nephew Ronny Ferreira. When I was told that my daughter ( Rashel Rodriguez)needed braces, I didn't have to think twice about choosing Dr. Gehani for correcting the issue. I was so satisfied, that I choose her again for my son's (Ransel Rodriguez) braces. Both Dr Gehani and her husband as well as their staff are very professional. they are always very quick, and I never have to wait long. I recommend them to anyone who will ever need an Orthodontist.

When i first came to Dr. Gehani, i wasn't able to close my teeth. My top 4 teeth and my bottom 4 teeth were not meeting. Dr. Gehani fixed my teeth and now i'm never hesitant to show off my smile. The office is vert clean and the receptionist along with the rest of the staff are very friendly. i would highly recommend this office to anyone who has dental issues

Dr. Rekha Gehani is a great orthodontist! She really knows what she's doing! I went Dr. Chad Gehani is also good at his job! He is the one who took of my braces and it was very quick and didn't really hurt!The assistants are very nice too. They are very helpful! You can ask them anything and they will help you out! I went there for two years and I had a really great experience overall! I would really recommend going there and I wouldn't mind taking other people I know there!
