Dr. Gibson grew up in Charlotte, NC where he was an active participant at Providence Presbyterian Church and the Boy Scouts of America. He attended Duke University where he received a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then went on to the University of Maryland Dental School where he graduated valedictorian of his dental class. Returning home to North Carolina, he earned his Masters degree and certificate in Orthodontics at UNC.
Dr. G and his wife, Marisa, have two children, Stela and Alexander, and a scrappy but lovable dog, Harvey. His favorite hobbies include auto mechanics, wood working, wake boarding, kayaking, and other outdoor activities with his family. Away from the office, he can typically be found tinkering with gadgets and technology, wrenching on his Jeep, or getting lost in various other projects.

Such an amazing orthodontist. I've went here since I got my braces, and I have them off now. They did an amazing job fixing my horrible overbite and explained everything so well. I highly recommend, all of the staff and everyone who works there is very friendly. And thanks to their proficiency, i was able to get my braces off very early. This is an absolutely incredible orthodontist.

I'm very disappointed that their billing department dropped the ball. My son's insurance changed which they did notify me of. So, I contacted our new insurance and they told me if it was extreme enough, it may be covered. I called the billing department on at the beginning of March and they said they would submit it, if anyone needed braces it was my son. Today, over two months later I call and the billing person says "oh yeah, it's not covered" as if it was common knowledge. No one called me to inform me of this or give me other options. My son desperately needs braces so 2 months is a long time to wait. I have a feeling that it was never resubmitted because she kept going in circles as to why she never called me back. I will be taking my son elsewhere to get braces. While I feel their staff and the orthodontist were great, this one issue has turned me off to the office completely.

The entire staff at Reidsville Orthodontics is warm and friendly. They put my son at ease right away and always explain everything thoroughly before each appointment begins. Now he looks forward to going to the orthodontist! We highly recommend Dr. Gibson and his wonderful staff!
