'My daughter and I were just there in the Lowell office Monday for her to get her braces put on. She was a little nervous so every time they went to go put a piece on to her teeth she would start to hum kind of like a song. The staff knew she was nervous and told her she was the first one to give them a song while they did the braces and she was no longer nervous. They do great with her. Now she can 't wait to get the rest of the braces put on. Definitely take your children here if they need braces. They 'll do great work, love them.'
Orthodontic treatment improves childrens dental and overall long-term health by correcting malocclusions that occur as a result of tooth or jaw misalignment. According to studies by the American Association of Orthodontists, untreated malocclusions (crooked/misaligned teeth or a poor bite) can result in a variety of problems. At RTO, we always want to start orthodontic treatment when it is most effective, and for many patients, this is between the ages of 12 and 16. This is because they now have enough teeth to support the orthodontic appliances, and their growth and development have been adequately established to be predictable. Thats why orthodontics is something classically associated with teenagers, even though we treat patients from all age groups children through adults.
The key to orthodontic success is to start the orthodontic treatment at the optimal time of dental and skeletal development and emotional maturity. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach to braces or clear aligners like Invisalign or RTOs Straight Teeth NOW!, its a highly individual task and is different for each teenager. These orthodontics cases, which are far and away the most common, are completed in a single phase of care; braces or clear aligners are worn for the appropriate time period, usually 12-24 months, and the results are superb.

Look no further for your teeth straightening needs. I came in for a free Invisalign consultation. I was very impressed by how professional and knowledgeable Dr. Brian and Wendy were. I'm a tough customer and do my research when it comes to my health. They were top notch. Not only did they provide me with all the information I needed, but Dr. Brian provided additional recommendations and the names of other dentists for some important tooth care needs. Thank you! A great practice for our family; I had invisalign and my three daughters had traditional braces. We saw Dr. Brian who is a kind and caring provider with excellent interpersonal skills. The staff is helpful and polite and always flexible in making visits manageable for our busy life. Meanwhile our teeth are looking superb!!!

I highly recommend Dr Jay and his team in Acton. I went to see Dr Jay for an ortho consult. I had ortho treatment as a teenager however I was never happy with the final result. I went back to the orthodontist years later and he told me that my teeth were an odd shape and that there was nothing more he could do. My smile is something that has bothered me for a long time and I really wanted to fix it. I had heard great reports about Dr Jay so I decided to make an appointment. The staff are very welcoming! Dr Jay and Wendy examined my teeth and explained in detail how they could straighten my teeth and give me a great smile. I was absolutely thrilled! Wendy and the staff are so friendly. I wish I had gone to Dr. Jay sooner!!!!

I originally visited the Acton office back in February of 2020, and one year later I am officially done with Invisalign. I had a very pleasant experience going through this office from start to finish and am glad I trusted the positive reviews I read online. During the pandemic they were still very communicative and when they opened back up followed all safety and distancing protocols greatly . Yes you will deal with mostly technicians at first during the visit (who from my experience are all skilled and know what they're doing!) but you always see the Doctor right after and they take their time and don't rush . The entire staff has always been so friendly, willing to answer questions / concerns, and overall very pleasant to deal with. From all the great techs they have to the Dr's, to the front desk receptionists - they all treat their patients with respect and make them feel comfortable . Thank you Patti, Sue, V, Mandy, Dr Ting , Dr Jay and the rest of the staff for everything !
