Dr. Richard Reichel, II is a third-generation Reichel dentist, and as such, he is dedicated to carrying on the family tradition of great dental service in Erie, PA and the surrounding areas. He follows in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Reichel is passionate about providing patients with the highest quality care. Demonstrated through his attention to detail and dedication to continuing education allows Dr. Reichel and his team to implement the most up to date and efficient treatment plans for his patients.He specializes in cosmetic dentistry, which is growing in popularity. He attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and therefore has become part of a small group of elite dentists across America trained in creating stunning smiles. In addition, he has taken several courses on cosmetic dentistry at the University of Buffalo Dental School. As a proud member of the Erie healthcare community, he has volunteered his services to the Dental Clinic at St. Pauls Neighborhood Free Clinic. He is a proud member of the Erie County Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dianne graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Certified Dental Assistant degree. She worked with Dr. Reichel Sr., and has been with the practice for over 40 years. She now works with Dr. Reichel, II, to plan and provide patient treatments. You are welcome to come to her with all of your questions; she is great at providing information and reassurance. Like Dr. Reichel, Dianne also attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and therefore helps Dr. Reichel in the cosmetic dentistry process.
Kate has been a part of the Reichel Dental forover ten years.After graduating from the Florida State Dental Program, she worked as a Certified Dental Assistant in Florida for two years before moving to Erie. Her interest in the dental field began when she realized she could help people gain more confidence in their smile. Kates caring personality make patients feel comfortable from the time they arrive in the office to the time they leave.

Easily the best dentist and dental staff I've ever worked with. Everyone is super friendly, courteous, and kind. They explain everything they're doing in detail to ensure their clients feel comfortable and relaxed. I had 3 fillings today with basically no pain or discomfort, especially after getting my wisdom teeth out a week earlier and was done in an hour or two. Highly recommend.

Without a doubt the best dental practice in town. The entire team led by Dr Reichel provides warm and best in class service to their patients. All in spotless and crisply decorated office spaces. Update March 2021: And for the past year practicing the best Covid-19 safe practices starting before you even enter their offices. May 2021: Windows open today in dental care rooms for good outside air exchange. Smart and thoughtful. Feb 2022: Another visit today for an evaluation and plan on a just-chipped molar. Dr R's office saw me the day after I called. I had a thorough examination and we agreed on a plan to repair my tooth. Still excellent C19 practices in place and the usual friendly and competent staff all around. Aug 2022: Status Quo 100%; still the best!

I'm normally someone who doesn't care for dentists I've had horrible, horrible experiences before. The staff is friendly and understanding, very warm and welcoming too. I have a few things that can make going to the dentist difficult and anxiety as well. They have been nothing short of great and accommodating to my needs and what works for me, and both visits I've had have gone very smoothly. We're slowly on the track to getting my smile back, and having one again! I'm really thankful as I was having a hard time finding someone to restore my smile and do my work, and now I do! This is going to be my permanent dentist for sure. A small shout-out to Diane, she's so friendly and absolutely great.

Dr. Reichel is a really great dentist. His dental assistant Christina is also wonderful. I had not been to the dentist in many years and had a lot that needed fixed and taken care of due to anxiety issues. Christina, Dr. Reichel, and all the office staff were extremely nice and caring at my appointments and made the whole experience so much better, I will definitely continue my care with them and recommend anyone who asks!

A co-worker recommended Reichel Dental to me in the fall of 2020 when I broke a tooth (my prior dentist's practice was an hour away and the dentist was retiring.) I was just thrilled to find a local dentist willing to see a new patient in the midst of a pandemic. From that first visit on, their practice has handled both my regular exams and dental repair work with professionalism. There is a fun energy among the staff.
