I went for a consultation, and everything appeared to be going to go okay. Showed up for the day of surgery and immediately put gas on me. After a few minutes of very high flow, I asked them to take it off because it was making me sick and giving me a panic attack. "Well I was about to give you oxygen". After surgery, they give my husband and I instructions for care. I came home and had moderate pain but immediately noticed a large knot forming on my left jaw. I ran a fever for 2 days, even with all the rotating medicine. I called Monday (surgery was Thursday), and they seemed very passive and that nothing was wrong. I then called back and asked to come in for an appointment because there was post-surgical drainage even with the antibiotics he ordered. At this point, it was about the size of 2 golf balls. I go into the office and he "What seems to be your problem". I tell him how much pain and drainage was coming from my mouth. Then, without warning just reached into my mouth and started grabbing and squeezing and poking. I was crying from pain and he said "what do you want me to do about this?". I am no oral surgeon but I do know that drainage from a surgical site and a fever is not good. He kept asking me about pain meds (almost like I was a pill seeker). He did not drain it or anything. I left in tears. He called in a broad spectrum antibiotic because he did not culture the infection. He did not do any scans or imaging to see what could be the cause. I went directly to my PCP for antibiotic injections. I stayed on oral antibiotics and injections for 5 days. It went down some but had started gaining infection again. I called the nurse at another oral surgery office and explained the situation. At this point, I am 12 days post surgery. The other oral surgeon took me as an emergency patient. I went there and had all the imaging and cultures done. The antibiotics that were prescribed were not the appropriate ones and it would not have cleared it anyways. I had to have emergency surgery to place a DRAIN TUBE in my jaw to get everything out. I also have nerve damage on one side. And do you know how many times Regional Oral Surgery has followed up or checked on me since I was in the office LAST WEEK? None. I do not recommend this office for any kind of oral procedure. I really had high hopes and I am not one to ever leave negative reviews. However, this experience has been an absolute nightmare. What was expected to be 2 days off of work has turned into at least 5. I have had 5 different medicines and still cannot eat much of a diet.

Amazing service, great atmosphere. Everyone in this office is extremely professional and nice, they worked my Husband in and took care of his tooth pain. Thank you Dr Owsley and staff. 10/10 service.

Great place, very nice and go out of their way to help you, I was in a incredible amount of pain they squeezed me in their packed schedule and had my tooth out within 3 days, can't thank them enough

Had oral surgery on 5/16/22. From the caring, polite and understanding staff to the knowledge, competent and truly professional physician, this office had it all. I appreciate the understanding they showed when I had extreme anxiety just being in the dental chair and the after hours call I received to check on me. Thank you all, your office is definitely a blessing to our community. Lisa Garrett

Just had my wisdom.reeth extracted this afternoon. The ladies responsible. For putting me under were very understanding. When the gas didn't help calm me for the IV. They asked what they could do to make things easier. I had no option but to sit upright and focus on the situation as they hooked me up. They were the best.

All the staff were great to work with & I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Dr. Owsley himself the day after my surgery to check in. There are not a lot of doctors still humble enough to check on their patients personally despite their busy schedules. Highly recommend.

Nurses were very helpful and sweet, but Dr. Owsley is nothing but false confidence, during my consultation he told me he could get all four of my wisdom teeth out without any issues, I woke up to only one tooth gone and a gash in my bottom gum , with no stitches at that, for me to only call him later that day for him to tell me he doesn't have enough skill to complete the procedure, I wouldn't send my dog to get dental work from him.

Had to have a tooth extracted after a crown broke due to decay underneath. The staff was friendly and supportive. Dr. Owsley was awesome. I didn't feel a thing and got in and out of the office with almost no wait. Also while the numbing was taking effect I had an awesome conversation with the nurse that really helped me calm down. I had never had a tooth pulled and was a little nervous. If I ever need any oral surgery I will definitely return. I found out everything I needed to know for recovery and all the tips to make sure it was speedy. Thanks so much!

I have worked here and also had oral surgery here. I would not go anywhere else. I know first hand how they do things and it is top of the line care and compassion! The nurses are kind, patient, and great at making you feel at ease! And Dr. Owsley is a wonderful Doctor and very knowledgeable in this profession! I wouldn't trust any other Doctor and staff like I trust the ones at Regional Oral Surgery Center!

The way they do the insurance is a joke. They tell you one amount to pay at their office then they hit you with another bill later. The staff is rude. It's a good thing you have more choices in town. Read the other reviews about this place. Bad experience's. If Love your family member take them somewhere else ...

Was super nervous to be put under. Stephanie was great and made sure I felt little to no pain when putting in the IV. One minute I was talking to Stephanie, next thing I know I'm getting in my car (with my designated driver) on my way home. Dr Owsley called later that evening to see how everything was going. Missed his call but the gesture was very appreciated!

I am beyond grateful for my experience with this office. I had not met Dr. Owlsley prior to the day he removed my wisdom teeth. I began having bad tooth pain on a Wednesday and I seen a dentist who referred me to him for wisdom teeth surgery consultation. I was beyond blessed though because I was in so much pain and blessed with a doctor who cared! Dr. Owlsley removed my wisdom tooth that day!!! He fixed my pain completely and I am beyond grateful. The nurses were also super helpful and reassuring. I was always nervous about going to the dentist let alone having teeth removed, but Dr. Owlsley and his team made the whole process not so bad and completely pain free except minor soreness after the surgery. I'm beyond grateful!

I have worked here and also had oral surgery here. I would not go anywhere else. I know first hand how they do things and it is top of the line care and compassion! The nurses are kind, patient, and great at making you feel at ease! And Dr. Owsley is a wonderful Doctor and very knowledgeable in this profession! My son had 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday. Dr. Owsley and his team were amazing. They were great from the consultation visit all the way to after surgery. They answered all my questions. We never felt rushed during consultation or after surgery. I recommend Dr. Owsley to anyone looking for an oral surgeon.

Very very great experience! I had my wisdom teeth taken out! I was only sore the second day. It was definitely way better than I had thought before going into the surgery. Dr Owsley called twice in two days after I had the surgery to check and see how I was doing. Definitely recommend.
