Our practice offers a wide variety of services, from general preventive care to more advanced restorative and cosmetic solutions. Additionally, Dr. Daniel Berquist and Dr. Joseph Omelas take continuing education very seriously and are always looking to add new techniques and tools to the work they do. Above all else, we want you to leave our office feeling completely satisfied with the results youve achieved.
Dr. Daniel J. Berquist entered the dental field in 2013 and has practiced dentistry as part of his family dental practice since that time. He loves offering gentle, compassionate dental services for his patients. Being able to connect with them on a daily basis and develop long term relationships with them are the most rewarding parts of his job. A native of nearby Crown Point, IN, Dr. Berquist attended Olivet Nazarene University where he obtained a BS in biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Indiana Universitys Dental School.
Outside the office, Dr. Berquist enjoys spending time with his wife, Dani, daughter, Lydia, and Yorkshire terrier, Lila. When he has time, Dr. Berquist enjoys spending time with his family and friends near the lakeshore, hiking, and fishing.
Dr. Joseph Ornelas began practicing dentistry in 2013, and he loves meeting new patients, helping them reach their oral health goals, and providing treatment and education that allows them to maintain their healthiest smiles. Dr. Ornelas completed his undergraduate studies at Purdue University, and he and Dr. Berquist both earned their doctorate at Indiana Universitys School of Dentistry. Dr. Ornelas also grew up in Crown Point, IN. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Ornelas maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Northwester Indiana Dental Society.
Happily married, Dr. Ornelas enjoys spending time at home with his wife Laura and their two dogs and two cats. The family is looking forward to welcoming their first child in September of 2016. In his spare time, Dr. Ornelas enjoys fishing, camping, competitive shooting, and hockey.
