Dr. Dailey has over 33 years of experience in the field of dentistry, with subspecialties in integrative dentistry, prosthodontics, and sleep medicine (the treatment of mild-to-moderate sleep apnea using dental techniques).
Through her extensive continued education and professional memberships, Dr. Dailey has become a leader in the field of integrative dentistry. She feels fortunate to be practicing in such an exciting, dynamic field: waking up each day feeling passionately about ones life work is truly a gift.
In 1986, Dr. Dailey received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Dailey is currently licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Michigan, holding both National and Northeast Regional Board Certifications.
Dr. Sabrina Salim started off her career as a dental assistant for 9 years. She attended St. Marys College, where she earned her bachelors degree in biology, followed by Wayne State University, where she earned a masters degree in physiology. She obtained her dental degree at the University of Detroit Mercy and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Michigan, where she is a currently a part-time clinical associate professor.
Besides her thorough training, Dr. Salim is a member of the American Dental Association, member of the Michigan Dental Association, Vice President of the Oakland County Dental Society, member of the Academy of General Dentistry and certified in Invisalign.
Dr. Salim is well-loved by her patients because she treats each patient with love, compassion and respect. She greatly enjoys being able to serve her patients over a span of generations. It truly builds a family-type relationship in the office.
On her spare time, Dr. Salim enjoys running 5Ks, playing soccer, volunteering at the church and also involved in dental missions locally and internationally. She currently resides in Farmington Hills with her husband.
While a practicing associate with Drs. Cheryl and Ralph Kluk in Jackson, Michigan, Dr. Dailey was a faculty member and lecturer in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry from 1986-1988. In 1989, she fell in love with the Ann Arbor area and made a decision to plants roots, both professionally and personally.
Dr. Dailey then opened her private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan: I decided to settle in Ann Arbor because I love the energy of this town and the spirit of the people I meet. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at The University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dailey is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Michigan, and the Washtenaw District Dental Society (past President and past Chair of the Peer Review Committee). Among her many honors, Dr. Dailey has been recognized by Current Magazine as Washtenaw Countrys Best Dentist in 2016, as well as receiving the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry.
Her professional activities include the Task Force on Women in Dentistry, the Special Committee for Young Professionals, and a mentoring initiative through the Michigan Dental Association for potential and current dental students.
In regards to sleep medicine, she has lectured in Michigan, Ohio, and New Jersey for multiple professional organizations, and she has presented to a sleep apnea patient support group at Saint Josephs Hospital. Currently, she is an an adjunct clinical professor and consultant for dental sleep medicine at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
Within the local community, Dr. Dailey has designed and presented educational programs targeting children in preschool and above, and has also volunteered with participants in the Special Olympics. She has even appeared on three thirty-minute television segments in the Heres to Your Health series produced by Dr. Jack Hill, covering preventative and esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Dailey is a skilled practitioner. I have received two oral appliances for sleep apnea from her. Dr. Dailey worked very hard to get the first appliance to fit correctly, and it served me well for years. The second was even better--incredibly comfortable, albeit very expensive (worth it if it helps). A short time later, however, a full sleep study done at U of M showed that I had very significant continuing symptoms of sleep apnea, and my sleep specialist asked me to get in touch with Dr. Dailey to get her recommendations. That was more than a month and a half ago. Since then, I have been trying to reach her, or to get feedback from her, via her staff, which has been an exercise in frustration. The process of trying to reach someone in Dr. Dailey's office is absurdly complex, a Kafka-esque nightmare! First, you call and almost inevitably you reach voicemail, telling you to "leave your name and number, and we will get back to you as soon as we can". So you leave your name and number, and perhaps a description of the issue; Sometime later, you inevitably receive a text message telling you to leave a text message (why weren't you told that in the first place?) and someone will get back to you within 24 hours. So you leave a text message (I did that on May 5, 2022) and wait weeks...and weeks...and weeks. Many weeks later you receive a text message (which you fail to notice in the midst of all the junk texts you receive, telling you to come in for an appointment, which will cost $200.00, which you cannot afford. When you do finally manage to reach Dr. Dailey's assistant, Annette, she agrees to go over your records and she states she will get back to you next week with feedback. That happened to me several weeks ago, and I have yet to hear from Annette. It has been more than a month and one-half since I first called, trying to reach someone. it is now June 20, 2022. I am completely frustrated with the situation and worn down by it, and cannot bear to make one more call. What can the problem possibly be? Annette wears multiple hats at the clinic. Is she spread too thin? is the office regularly understaffed? Are they not able to hold onto employees? All I can say is that the office set-up is a hot mess. I am left with a comfortable oral appliance for sleep apnea that is not helping me. Dr. Dailey's wonderful skills are useless to me if I cannot effectively communicate with her office or with her about problems with my appliance. I am sorely disappointed!!
