Dr. Scott Blackman joined our practice in 1996. He received his undergraduate and dental education from the University of Tennessee, where he also completed his postgraduate orthodontic residency. Dr. Blackman is a graduate of the World Clinical Laser Institute for laser dentistry with Level II certification, and is a graduate of the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center for service excellence. He is an officer in the Tennessee Dental Association and is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Tennessee Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Tennessee Association of Orthodontics and the Eighth District Dental Society. Dr. Blackman has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 20 plus years and has 3 boys, Connor, Griffin, and Brennan. When he is not creating Designer Smiles, Dr. Blackman is a competitive triathlete and runner, having competed in seven Ironman Triathlons and over 25 marathons!
Dr. Nicolas Bisig joined the Reflections team in June 2020. He received his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, where he was the top resident in his class. He and his wife, Courtney, have two beautiful daughters, Lauren and Natalie, and they have a labradoodle named Jackson. They live in the Nashville area, and in his spare time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, and University of Georgia football.
