'We don 't just treat teeth. We treat people. That 's why I make sure to listen to my patients, not just talk to them. I have to understand their perspective before Ican help them reach their goals!'

Dr. Qais Musmar was inspired to become a dentist by watching his mother care for her patients; she was a practicing dentist for 39 years. As a child he was a regular face at the office, and enjoyed the atmosphere of attentiveness and professionalism he found there.

After graduating with honors from George Mason University with a B.S. in biology, he attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He graduate summa cum laude as the only student in the school's history to graduate with a 4.0 GPA. He then took the additional step of completing a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry inSan Antonio. There he learned the latest advancements in techniques and materials for areas such as cosmetics, reconstructive treatment, endodontics and periodontal treatment. He also achieve certification in Pain Management, Conscious Sedation, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

'I enjoy cosmetic work and full-mouth reconstruction,' he says. 'And I like helping patients keep a positive outlook. If they 've been caring for their teeth well, I compliment them. If they 're not, I 'll find out why, without lecturing them.'

Dr. Musmar met his wife, Dr. Rainy Suon, in dental school. She, like Dr. Musmar, enjoys practicing dentistry in Northern Virginia. Their personal lives are busy and fulfilling as their professional ones. They are proud parents of four kids, Haitham, Kareem, Laith and Hani.

Dr. Hijaz attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2007. He then moved To New York City where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Hijaz finished a one-year residency program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Hijaz is also certified in Invisalign.

Dr. Hijaz enjoys all aspects of dentistry, specifically cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Hijaz is committed to providing high quality dentistry to the patients he serves, and always strives to give his patients one of their better dental experiences. He currently lives in Virginia where he enjoys exercising, watching movies and traveling in his spare time.

My mission is to make every patients experience as pleasant and painless as possible so that he or she will leave satisfied with every aspect of our services. My goal is to help guide patients in making the best decision for their oral health, as I value their trust and will have their best interest at heart. I want my patients to always be confident that they have made the best choice for their overall health.

Dr. Dinh served as an Air Force Reserve Dentist for Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. She was enlisted in the Army Reserves as a Vietnamese Linguist, participated in ROTC at the University of Texas, completed Airborne School at Ft. Benning, GA and commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer. During dental school, Dr. Dinh was activated for six months to fulfill her obligations as an Intel Officer at Ft. Hauchuca in Arizona. She also worked with the FBI and DEA as a Vietnamese Linguist. Upon graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, she accepted a commission in the Air Force Reserve and became a Dental Corps Officer at Andrews Air Force Base. Dr. Dinh retired as a Major in the Air Force Reserve after proudly serving in the Armed Forces for over 24 years.

As an Air Force Reserve Dentist, Dr. Dinh participated in humanitarian missions to Sri Lanka to provide emergency dental care to displaced tsunami residents throughout four remote villages. She was helicoptered into each village to extract hopeless teeth under austere conditions. Dr. Dinh also provides community services to Give Kids a Smile and has volunteered her time to the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic & Free Dental Day.

Dr. Dinh is dedicated to pursuing advanced education and training, including endodontics, periodontics, soft tissue grafts, pedodontics, orthodontics (Invisalign, traditional braces, Myobrace, and interceptive orthodontics), cosmetic dentistry, and dental implant restorations and placements. Dr. Dinh is certified in IV Sedation. She is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry, as well as a fellow of the American Dental Implant Association.

Dr. Dinh and her husband, Hiep enjoy traveling, back-country camping, skiing, biking, hiking, and live theatre. With their two beautiful children, Sydney and Mason, they are now focused on local tennis and golf tournaments throughout Northern Virginia. She is a native Texan and brings her southern hospitality to Virginia.
