If you have a dental emergency, contact our office immediately. If your emergency is taking place during normal office hours, we will do our best to see you as quickly as possible. For emergencies happening after hours or during the weekend, contact our office for an emergency number. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We treat knocked-out teeth, broken dental restorations, toothaches, and more.

Most patients benefit from seeing the dentist every six months. Other patients may benefit from more frequent visits depending on their oral health needs. When you visit Dr. Reece, she will recommend a schedule that is best suited for you.

We provide general dentistry services to patients of all ages. Dr. Reece takes a comprehensive approach to overall dental health. During a comprehensive exam before treatment, Dr. Reece will examine all aspects of your oral health including the teeth, gums, jaw joints, and muscles.

Dr. Reece is experienced in treating patients with complex problems like worn, broken, or missing teeth, TMJ disorders, and gum disease. Dr. Reece focuses on both function and aesthetics, to ensure that patients achieve a natural-looking, comfortable, and functional smile.

Please allow me to give you some information about myself. I graduated from East Carolina Universitys School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, I was fortunate enough to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I learned a lot from my experience with the VA and will be forever grateful for my time there. There, I was able to gain further experience in a multitude of procedures including implant placement, root canals, extractions, and the treatment of medically complex patients. I love all aspects of general dentistry and I hope to be able to offer all of you a variety of services under one roof.

Prior to attending dental school, I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for my undergraduate degree. I am a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association. I grew up near Statesville, North Carolina but fell in love with the Triangle area while I was at UNC. Outside of work I enjoy running, crafting, taking weekend trips to the beach, spending time with my family, and being a cat mom to my two fur-babies, Mia and Billy.

Thirty-six years ago, we began our dental journey at UNCs School of Dentistry. For more than three decades, we have witnessed the growth of you and your families along with having the privilege of providing care for your dental health needs. It is extremely satisfying to us to have been a part of your lives throughout our careers. We are truly grateful for such an opportunity and even more so for your friendship.

The time has come to find some new help and begin the transition into the next phase of our lives. We took the task of finding our replacement very seriously. This individual must be someone who we felt would continue providing excellent dental care to you and your families. We are excited to announce that after a diligent search, we have selected Dr. Emily Ann Reece to become our successor. We have complete confidence in her abilities, both personally and professionally. Dr. Reece is also a graduate of UNC. She attended ECUs School of Dentistry and has most recently worked at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. Overall, Dr. Reece has exceptional credentials and will bring knowledge of additional services including dental implants and Invisalign. She will be joining us within the next few months and she is eagerly looking forward to meeting each of you. She will be supported by us and the entire staff during the transition, so you wont notice a whole lot of change in our operations.
