She received her undergraduate degree in Physiology & Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Amarnath obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Temple University, where she served as a student body Vice President and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

During her residency program, Dr. Amarnath trained extensively in evidence-based dentistry, restorative dentistry, dental trauma, hospital dentistry, pediatric sedation, and dental care for individuals with special health care needs.

Dr. Amarnath is active in the public health and oral health advocacy arena; partnering with organizations such as the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) to advocate for childrens oral health on a national scale.

Dr. Amarnath is passionate about creating a fun and safe environment to provide healthy smiles. Her goal is to make sure each patient has an enjoyable dental experience by providing optimal care and educating her patients on maintaining good oral health from childhood into adulthood.

Dental health is important, and its important to us that your child feels comfortable receiving the necessary attention to ensure the health of their smile. We understand the dentists office can be scary, which is why we take special care to help your little ones feel comfortable on their first trip in.

We do our best to explain to your child what to expect so there are no surprises. During their visit, it is our goal to examine the development of their mouth, including: crowding, appearance of calcium deposits, abnormalities in number of teeth, baby bottle tooth decay, gum disease, TMJ, and signs of prolonged problems such as thumb-sucking and teething. We also like to educate them on proper brushing methods and dental care, and letting them be a part of the process concerning their dental health so that they can develop life-long habits.

Attaining the smile youve always wanted is as important to you as it is to us, and helping you affordably achieve that smile is our main goal. We are preferred providers for numerous plans including most PPOs and our fees are often equivalent or similar to those allowable under other preferred provider arrangements. Dr. Park grew up in San Francisco and obtained her Bachelors Degrees in Economics and Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley. After matriculation, she worked in a prestigious biotechnology company in East Bay for a few years prior to attending dental school.

Dr. Park completed her dental degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry where she graduated with honors. She was invited back to UCLA Hospital Dentistry Program, where she delivered dentistry to medically compromised and head neck cancer patients. After realizing her true passion, she pursued Orthodontics Residency at UCLA, where she received a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Prior to joining Image Orthodontics, she worked in private practices in the Bay Area for the past ten years.

Dr. Park is well versed in all aspects of orthodontics and always keeps herself abreast of the latest orthodontic technologies. She is passionate about her work and strives to achieve the best possible treatment and experience for individual patients. In her spare time, Dr. Park enjoys swimming, hiking, gardening, and fuse glasses.
