Went here three time . First Dr I saw left this facility she was new I could tell by the way she went back and forth on what she was telling me, she seemed un sure of what to do . Second time I went in for a partial implant and I paid out of pocket . The initial price given by the previous Dr was not honored even tho I had paper work to prove it . I went ahead and paid the new price for implant. They took a mold and Two weeks passed, I was called to come in and fit my partial denture. I checked in and sat me at one of the stations I waited and waited for the Dr . I was told he's running late he's coming from San Francisco. I waited an additional 45 min then receptionist approached again and was told he will be another 45 min to an hour because he had a flat tire and was waiting for a tow truck. I had to go back to work so I asked if I could leave . I still have the partial that still dose not fit correctly and cost me over 500 of my own money . Very unprofessional establishment. I have a $500.00 partial denture that I can't use waste of my money and time. I will not return to this place for my cleanings or any other treatment. I highly don't recommend this place .

I was given an opinion elsewhere and my molar needed to be pulled there was no saving it. Dr Salek said it's absolutely worth saving! Im so glad I found this Dr. I've heard nothing but good!! I know how hard one emergency appointment can be let alone 2! Thank you for showing me your patients truly are your priority! I truly appreciate your hard work. I didn't even feel the needles!

This was the worst experience ever regarding a dentist. The only good thing about Redwood Family Dentistry is the staff. Dr. Salck was horrible. He is both incompetent and egotistical. I chose this office because of the positive reviews. The first time I met him was when I had 5 teeth extracted. My mouth was infected to the point that he commented how infected they were. I had requested antibiotics before the extractions, and after the extractions, and it was denied. 4 day's after the extractions I called for antibiotics as the infection was worse. After telling them I have a very compromised immune system, they called in a prescription for antibiotics. I have no doubt that antibiotics would not have been ordered if it was up to Dr. Salck. During this extraction, I could hear him conversing with other patients, and he was very pleasant to them. Not so with me. Was this because I'm on MediCal? Three days after getting the antibiotics I had a followup appointment. It was obvious he wasn't happy about me calling for the antibiotics. He was very confrontational about the infection. Again I could hear how pleasant he was to other patients, yet again not to me. Again because of being a MediCal patient? Three and a half months after the extractions I called and made an appointment as the bottom dentures hurt and was very sloppy to the point I couldn't even talk with them. I put off calling as I didn't want to go because of my previous visits. The appointment was for 1:30. There were only two other patients in the waiting room with me. About 1:45 I was taken to one of the stalls. Around 2:45 I asked one of the staff why I hadn't been seen yet. I had heard him converse with other patients, and again he was very pleasant to them. Sitting there so long I could hear him pushing the patients to have more expensive procedures. He was like a car salesman. He had seen over 5 other patients before me and I feel he made me sit there because for one I was on MediCal, and second because I had requested antibiotics, which annoyed him. When I finally was seen by him he was again rude and had a negative attitude. He stated that the bottom denture would never be functional or comfortable. He was very patronizing, yet when I agreed to pay $250 for a realinement he was somewhat pleasant. He started to tell me that only a procedure using anchored bottom teeth ($5,000) would be the only way that bottom dentures would work. Do not go to this Dentist office if you are on MediCal, or if you do go them request a different Dentist. You're much better off going to Western Dental.

Great staff, the appointment had a very small wait time but the staff was right there waiting for me when I sat down in dental chair. My x-rays were up and procedure started immediately. I was completely satisfied with service.

Best dentist in town Profesional and always kind i use to be scared of doctors and dentists but they are so kind and explain everything in detail makes u lose the fear glad i found them

Dr. Salek was extremely thorough, explained the entire procedure to me as he was doing it (root canal) and was both friendly and professional...Jeannie in the front office is also AMAZING, so sweet and attentive every time I've gone in!!

I made an appointment at Redwood Family Dentistry because of the numerous good reviews I found about the practice and the fact that they accept medi-cal insurance. I had a very strange and unprofessional experience and will not be returning. Before going in I knew that I had a few cavities and expected to be informed they needed fillings. I received x-rays (normal for a new patient) and then waited to be seen by the dentist. Dr. Salek greeted me and looked at the x-rays for about 30 seconds before informing me that I would need a root canal on a bottom left molar. He proceeded to talk about this tooth that needed a root canal, without mentioning any of the other cavities I also knew needed to be addressed. He spends about 5 minutes total speaking with me and then moves on. Never looking inside my mouth to inspect the cavities / root canal tooth. I brought up multiple concerns I had and he brushed them off and continued to talk only about the root canal tooth. I was already feeling uncomfortable and knew I wanted a second opinion from another dentist. I waited for a few minutes and woman who had been behind the front desk comes over to talk to me about pricing and scheduling. The woman from the front desk (NOT A DENTIST OR DENTAL TECH) proceeds to look at my x-rays and make her own diagnosis that I had a deeply infected tooth root and that was obvious from the x-ray and that was why the tooth needed a full root canal. THIS WAS NOT THE DIAGNOSIS DR. SALEK GAVE ME AT ALL. Confused, I ask her to elaborate and she continues to make false diagnosis and give medical advice about the situation. I was extremely off-put and found this to be extremely unprofessional. The same woman (I cannot remember her name) had been running back and forth from the front desk to another patient to assist the doctor during what seemed to be a cavity filling procedure that was going on next to me. Why is the woman from the front desk (not in scrubs, doesn't appear to be a dental assistant or tech of any kind) assisting with procedures and giving medical diagnoses that don't match the doctors? Unprofessional and dangerous behavior. I have since seen another dentist and they did not recommend a root canal on the suggested tooth and brought up numerous other issues that were missed by Dr. Salek. Overall, I felt like they wanted to get the most money possible out of me as a new patient with Medi-cal coverage by doing an unnecessary and expensive procedure instead of actually addressing my true needs. Think twice before agreeing to costly procedures here. I will not be returning and do not recommend Redwood Family Dentistry.

I went here because I was turned away at a different Denist due to not having my insurance card I was in severe pain and needed assistance as soon as possible they got me in the same day I've been dealing with bad teeth for years and I just finished today they finished all of the work today! they've been patient with me even when I was a crazy patient and Dr.salek is amazing Dr. yu finished the work and is also amazing and very kind. they really care about their patients and I appreciate them getting me in that day when I was at my wits end so thank you!!
