Dr. Quynh Buis journey to becoming a pediatric dentist began when she had braces put on during high school. Upon embracing dentistry as a profession, Dr. Bui earned the prestigious moniker Triple Jumbo by completing her undergraduate degree at Tufts University, earning her dental credentials at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and completing her two-year pediatric dentistry fellowship there.
During her time at Tufts, she earned both the Osher and Merritt scholarships, as well as being selected a recipient of the esteemed Dr. Waldemar Brehm Scholarship in the Early Treatment of Malocclusion in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Minh graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass and followed her older sister by graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, you could often find Dr. Minh assisting her sister at the dental office during school breaks.
Dr. Minh enjoys working alongside her sister and providing excellent family dental care patients have come to expect at Redstone Dental. Along with her older sister, Dr. Minh attends multiple continuing education courses and meetings each year to stay current on the latest techniques and technology. When not in the Redstone Dental office, Dr. Minh enjoys watching quiz shows, baking sweets, and chasing after her nieces and nephew in the yard.
Dr. Yong Hur is a respected periodontist who takes great pride in meeting the varied needs of his patients. In addition to practicing out of the Stoneham office, Dr. Hur is currently an assistant professor of periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is a recipient of the fellowship award sponsored by the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
After receiving his degree from the College of Dentistry at Wonkwang University in South Korea in 2001 and working in general dentistry, he specialized in periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his certification in 2008 and his masters degree in biology in 2009.
Dr. Hur is a member and peer-reviewer for the two main publications of the American Academy of Periodontology: The Journal of Periodontology and Clinical Advances in Periodontics. He is a published clinician and particularly active in the clinical research of Periodontology. Outside of the office, Dr. Hur enjoys traveling with his lovely wife, Yumi, who is also a periodontist.

Dr. Bui and Dr. Minh are a incredible duo! I have had the pleasure of being a patient at Redstone Dental for the last 3 or so years. Their office and staff is welcoming from the second you walk through the doors. They both provide top notch work. Their attention to detail is unmatched, when it comes to reconstructive work right down to a simple cleaning by the hygienists.

Great dentist. Got me in for an emergency dental visit on a Friday afternoon. Staff was very friendly and the dentist was the nicest I have met in a long time. Definitely will go back!!

They were the only office that could see me in short notice and was really impressed. Very clean and modern equipment , the doctor had a pragmatic and logical approach that was refreshing. I have a very bad gag reflex and general anxiety and they worked around it very well.

Just finished my 1st visit to Redstone Dental after 20+ years with another dentist (he retired). Arrived early at the Redstone Dental office to complete the new patient paperwork. The office is really modern, with a great welcome area. The entire experience, from the cleaning with the hygienist, to the first consultation with Dr. Minh, was wonderful. Had a nice discussion about my current dental needs, and future care as needed. I couldn't be happier with my choice for a new dental office.

I have tried MANY dentists all over the world, and I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon the folks here! Maria is the most thorough hygienist that I have encountered, without being rough. Dr. Bui took the time to explain my oral situation in terms that I may understand, and even honestly advise how to best approach treatment that would be least painful on my "pocket", yet most effective. She is also up-to-date w/ cutting edge techniques, still attending seminars.... They are also personable, and Maria has a great sense of humor too!

As always, it is a pleasure to visit Redstone Dental Center! As well as performing the dental work with complete professionalism, the staff are also very friendly, asking about what I up to, sharing their own news, and generally making me feel very welcome. Recently, when Dr. Min was extracting one of my teeth (something I was not looking forward to), she had music playing and sang along to "What's Love Got To Do With It" while pulling my tooth out. An unexpected but very soothing experience!
