An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I've had a couple of procedures from cleaning to getting a crown and Dr. Shah has done an amazing job. The staff are great and welcoming. The front staff will help you figure out a way to be able to pay and have your care be affordable. I'm very thankful that I found this dentist office. I recommend it!

The team at Redmond Modern Dentistry is exceptional. I am so pleased by the amount of professionalism and care this office provides to its patients. I went to see them for a dental emergency and had such a great experience. The communication over the phone with Aly and in the office with Gardenia made me feel that I am at the right place. They both were very friendly, welcoming, and light-hearted. I was seen by Dr. Dewenter who was very kind, gentle, and compassionate. He went above and beyond to treat the infected area. He even gave me a special mouthwash so that I could use it after the treatment. I was so touched. The dental assistant Rebecca was an absolute delight, and so very caring and helpful. I truly felt comfortable and cared for by them. I would highly recommend Redmond Modern Dentistry to all my friends!

This an extremely well run office. Allie who runs the front office is friendly and efficient, Jackie the hygienist and assistant is so kind and very good at doing her job(my favorite), and Dr. Shah is professional and very, very skilled. I'm so glad I switched to Redmond Modern Dentistry.

The hole staff very kind, knowledgeable and professionalat there jobs. Rebecca was very nice and professional taken care of me as I was getting two crowns put in today. The Doctor is so gentle and goes out of his way to make sure you are not hurting or uncomfortable with what he is doing. I would recommend Redmond Modern Dentistry without a doubt.

I was traveling from out of state and I had a dental emergency. They were able to get me in right away and took good care of me. I was freaking out, but they kept me calm. I won't be back but I wish they were close to my home! They were all nice, and I'm grateful!

This was probably the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Dr Shah was so helpful for my extremely painful dental emergency that needed two extractions. I was seen same day, had an exam, x ray, and the extractions done in under 2 hours and without costing me my first born child. They were so kind and enjoyable to be around even while I was in a lot of pain! it's clear Dr Shah and his colleagues enjoy what they do. It's now been 3 days since my extractions and the healing has been so easy, I haven't had any swelling and am already able to eat most foods without issue. I'm definitely going to come back for non emergent care.

I had my dental cleaning for the first time here. Not only were they great at seeing what insurance would cover me, but the entire process was very quick. As soon as one was done with x rays, the next person would be in to clean my teeth, very good customer service!

Redmond Modern Dentistry is the place to go. After years of having fear to go see a dentist this place made me feel so comfortable. Starting with the front office they were very welcoming and were able attend me and get me in the back quickly. As for in the back what truly impressed me was how they actually went over the procedure and what steps they were taking. Mostly all the times I went to other offices I left hurting and in pain. Modern Dentistry has top of the line technology that made me feel comfortable after my procedures were done with minimal pain. Their pricing is truly affordable. Dr.Shah & Dental Assistant Jackie really took great care of me.

I'm very, very pleased with Dr. Shah and his staff. I've had problems with anesthesia in the past, but Dr. Shah took the time to listen to my concerns and came up with a solution that worked for me. Great experience (for a dentist, that is)!

I went in to see Dr. Shah last week and was truly impressed. I was warmly welcomed by the front staff by two very sweet women. I was quickly taken back and was explained everything that would be taking place that day. I was getting a crown done on my back left side. The assistant was wonderful and caring and assured me what a gentle and well educated dentist Dr. Shah was and she was right. She then offered me a blanket and a glass of water which really made me feel comfortable and less anxious. Dr. Shah really was gentle and I barely felt him numb me. Also the crown was made the same day and I only had to make one appointment for the whole procedure. They physically made the crown in the office! This team really delivers! Thank you Redmond modern dentistry I'll see you in a few months!

Redmond Modern Dentistry is amazing. I went in on 1/17/22 for a well over due check-up. I was in pain and knew that I needed help. I knew I was in safe hands as soon as I was greeted by the warm and friendly front desk staff. In all, I needed two root canals and a handful of fillings. Dr. Amit Shah said that he wanted to be there with me for my full dental health journey. I had my first root canal on 1/27 at the office in Sammamish, which helped with the pain, but my tooth was not in a good shape, as I had lost a lot of the tooth, and my appointment for a permanent crown is still over a week away. However, no sooner was I out from the root canal than I get a call from Redmond Modern Dentistry to set up a "build up" to avoid any further issues with the tooth. They got me all squared away so that I had my appointment at 10:30am, and was back at work by 11:40am. As I told Dr. Shah, if I had started coming to see him three years ago, I wouldn't be in this mess. I know I'll be coming back here for all of my dental needs (and regular cleanings) going forward.

They may attempt to scam you if you change dentists. I moved and had to change dentists but at my last cleaning they charged my insurance for Xrays they did not take. I've been in contact with my insurance and Redmond Modern Dentistry was supposed to have submitted the paperwork to reverse the claim. low and behold 6 months later when I go in for a cleaning and get Xrays I discover they did not or "forgot" to submit the revised insurance claim. Currently working on a fraud and abuse claim, do not give these people your service.

I was so happy with my experience at Redmond Modern Dentistry. They completely fixed my smile. I had a severely chipped front tooth, and basically I couldn't smile at all. Given that it was my main front tooth, I had to get it fixed asap. I called them on a Wed evening, and they got me in the very next morning. (I had guests coming over on Friday) The staff was super friendly and the paperwork was a breeze. They were able to get a same day crown done and it looks amazing. I was really nervous about how my smile would look after the work was done, but Dr. Shah eased my nervousness, and took the time out to make sure I was happy with the results. I have to say that I had a great experience and honestly, it far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have good and reliable dental work done. Thank you for the awesome service and restoring my smile :)
