Navid Farzadfar, DDS (you can call him Dr. Navid!) is a dentist with vast experience in root canal therapy, implant and cosmetic dentistry. He took over Redmond Family Smiles from Dr. Adam Jury in January 2017.
Dr. Navids mission is to provide patients with the same dental care as he would deliver to his family members. He and his team aim at addressing patients chief concerns and tailoring the treatment plan based on each individuals needs. Dr. Navid has experience with many areas of dentistry including Root canal therapy, gum disease, restorative dentistry, cosmetics, wisdom tooth removal, and implant placement and restoration.
After graduating from dental school in 2008, Dr. Navid also completed one year of training in TMJ disorders and sleep apnea at UCLA as well as two and a half years of research fellowship and residency in general dentistry at the University of Rochester, NY. He is a faculty member at the department of restorative dentistry at University of Washington dental school.
Dr. Navid has lived in California and upstate New York before he and his wife, Sepi, chose to move to the Northwest for his wife to pursue her education in Orthodontics. Here, he met Dr. Adam Jury who was looking for a dentist to take over his practice in order for him to move to Colorado to be closer to family. After spending several hours discussing numerous cases and ensuring that they share a similar vision in dentistry, he took over Redmond Family Smiles in January 2017. Dr. Navid enjoys calling the Northwest his home and is proud to be a member of the local community.
Dr. Navid and his wife, Sepi, currently live in Woodinville and both enjoy the outdoor activities tremendously; their hobbies include Wine, skiing, traveling and cooking. Although these hobbies occupy his time outside of the practice of dentistry, he can always be reached in an emergency situation.
She was Dr. Navids assistant a couple years before taking on the role of Financial Coordinator and then Office Manager. Her passions in dentistry are dental implants,oral surgery, and helping patients achieve a smile they are proud to show off. Outside of work she loves taking care of her plants, cooking keto meals, visiting local farmers markets and finding beautiful hiking spots!

I love the relaxed friendly and courteous atmosphere of Redmond Family Smiles. Our dentist, Dr.Navid, is always so personable and makes me feel comfortable while in the dental chair. Becky his dental hygienist is excellent. They are genuinely interested in my dental health. I recently had the pleasure of bringing my 4 year old grandson to his first dental appointment. He didn't want to see the dentist and cried during our entire drive. As soon as we entered the office, he was warmly greeted and gradually became more comfortable. He was very comfortable with the hygienist and let her polish his teeth! He loved talking with Our dentist and promised to continue brushing his teeth. It was so much fun seeing how kind and thoughtful everyone was with this little guy. I highly recommend this dental practice for all your family dental needs.

I was impressed that Dr. Navid took the time to get to know me as a new patient and even did the cleaning himself. My teeth have been sensitive lately. He was very gentle and my teeth were squeaky clean and much brighter with all the stains removed.

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Navid's office a few days ago. He filled one tooth, and placed a crown on another one in just one session. They had a machine that produced the crown in less than 2 hours, preventing me from having to go to the office multiple times for this. Both doctor and the staff are super helpful and accommodating. Absolutely recommended.

We have been going to Redmond Family Smiles since Dr. Navid took over the practice. I also take my six kids there for their dentistry, so I go there a lot. Dr. Navid always, every time, leaves me with the impression that he has high expectations of himself to provide excellent care of the whole person and that includes putting people at ease. I imagine his thought process is something like, "If I am the gate that separates this person's health and well-being from sickness and pain, nothing gets through." Once my son had a sore in his mouth that was really bothering him, and Dr. Navid sealed it with a laser. He always seems so happy to see everyone and makes us all feel welcome. This extends through to the wonderful hygienists too! I love the place!
