Dr. Redd has been a Dentist for over 20 years providing caring services to patients in North Carolina and Virginia and beyond. She is a 1991 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic University & State Institution after 3 1/2 years with a B.S. degree in Biology. She received her D.D.S. degree in 1996 from the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. Additionally, she was awarded the Outstanding Student Award by the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1996.
Dr. Redd originally opened the doors to her own family dental practice in Greensboro in November 2000. She held numerous offices in both the Guilford County Dental Society including President and Greensboro Medical Society. In October 2009, the office relocated to a new location at 2006 New Garden Road, Suite 101, Greensboro, NC 27410. The office has employed the use of several new technological advances and products to offer patients a variety of services. Dr. Redd also has an active interest in a holistic approach to dental and overall health care using aromatherapy and other modalities in the practice. She readily shares with patients findings, research and products on a regular basis.
Rodrick has been a highly valued team member with Dr. Redd since August 2003. Rodrick is very versatile serving in multiple capacities for the practice administratively as well as his ability to serve in a clinical capacity as DA II. His quiet demeanor and professional courteous manner has facilitated patients for many years in achieving many goals from dental services to working with insurance plans on their behalf.
Rodrick has two beautiful children and has been an invaluable asset to his parents. He has a deep passion for racing as well as rebuilding and restoring vintage cars. REDD Family Dentistry is proud to have him to be of service to its many loyal patients.
Mrs. Barbara Redd is an auxiliary Team Redd member and serves the practice in many ways. She is also the mother to Dr. Redd and Rod. Mrs. Redd has been a great support in numerous capacities and an integral part of the structure of REDD Family Dentistry.
Mr. Louis Redd is a honorary founder of REDD Family Dentistry and works to assist in keeping the business functional by lending his many skills. Mr. Redd has been of great support and has had a unique hand in helping REDD Family Dentistry. Mr. Redd is married to Mrs. Redd who also contributed to the foundational establishment of the practice.

Dr. Redd and Rod make every experience I have had with them positive. She has been my dentist for almost 18 years. She is professional, up to date and truly cares about me, my health, safety and comfort. Dr. Redd and Rod work very hard to make sure the office and equipment is clean and sanitized. Rod has always been very helpful, calm and polite with every encounter. I am thankful she is always there when I need her and for their quality care.

I enjoyed my recent visit to Redd Family Dentistry. Enjoy and Dentist are not usually mentioned in the same sentence but they do a great job and get you in and out. I love their professionalism, quality of their work, and the personal touch with each visit. Over the several years of having them as my dentist office I have not had any bad experiences with them.

I had a mediocre opinion about this Dentist Office previously but as of today I don't. I haven't taken my children in years but was still signed up with this office. I called to receive my records for my children via email and never received them nor a follow up call. They also have allowed someone else to make an appointment for my child who has not signed any of the pertinent paperwork. I don't want anyone operating under my name at all. I requested to remove my children from this dental office, that includes records and all but they have not honored my requests. Also this place takes Medicaid so if they go through with this appt it will be Medicaid fraud due to someone else trying to operate under my name with documents that I have signed. If the person who brings a child doesn't sign the documents and have signed insurance or insurance that lists them as the user, name the for them to go forth with this appt will be fraudulent and can result in legal action being taken. I have advised against it but no follow up received. And if you operate in that manner it leads me to believe that you perform illegit operations/services in a subtle way. I will report to the bbb and others who need to investigate. I hope that they conduct an external audit. This seems as of this I a famiy of thieves.

Dr. Redd is hands down one of the best dentist! Dr. Redd is personal, professional, and gentle. The clinic is always clean and welcoming. She makes you look forward to a trip to the dentist!

My family has been coming to Dr Redd Family Dentistry since 2000. We're treated like 'family' each and every time. Rod is always kind, courteous and professional handling appointments and squeezing us in when he can. I recently had an emergency situation with a crown. Dr Redd was able to get my issue resolved quickly and to my full satisfaction. I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. They are truly a blessing to our community!!!

I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Redd's patient for over 10 years. I have witnessed the practice evolve in a positive way. I have always felt like I am visiting family friends. Dr. Redd and Rod exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and attention to my individualized dental treatment plan. I can't stress enough how they have really ensured that the appropriate precautionary measures have been implemented to be compliant with COVID. The check-in process is seamless. You sit in your car and text that you have arrived, Rod calls you and goes through the COVID screening, then he comes to your car and takes your temp and escorts you into the building. Today Rod was extremely helpful with expediting my appointment. He performed x-rays and got me set up and ready for Dr. Redd. Appointment completed in 40 minutes. Pleasant and efficient visits are important to me. Dr. Redd and Rod consistently go above and beyond to ensure that those needs are met. I am more than confident they will provide the same level of interaction and serviced for you and your family!

Love the awesome service....Never had a problem with my teeth since I've been coming to Redd Family Dentist. She makes sure your comfortable, ask if you have problems with your teeth talks to you about how important it is to take care of your teeth and so on. I highly recommend Redd Family Dentist to everyone.

I did have a good experience with Dr Redd office until Dec, 2020. My daughter went in to have some work completed, Dr Redd called me afterward to let me know because my daughter was late, she could not complete all of the work. I completely understood. She indicated she would contact me if there were any openings before the new year. I had already paid for the service, so I said that was fine. Well when I called in January to set up the appointment to have the work completed, I was informed that in my daughter notes, all the work had been completed- everyone acted as if I was crazy and that the conversation never happened. Dr Redd never even called me or admitted we had the conversation. If she valued me and my daughter as a customer, she could have at least had conversation with me, offered to have Jada come in and just check and confirmed what she did- instead I just received conversations from her staff. I know she has been busy and she may not have remembered the conversation, but at least put my mind at ease that the work I paid for, was completed on my daughter- not ignore me and make me feel as if I made it all up. I was very frustrated and confused that a professional dentist would not want to make sure everything was right. UPDATE: Dr Redd reached out to me and explained what happened and apologized for the misunderstanding. I was very appreciative for her reaching out to me My daughter really likes her as her dentist and wanted to continue going to her. Thank you again for everything.

Dr. Tanya Redd is the BEST dentist that I have ever had. She is very talented and has a wonderful chair-side manner. She works with precision and efficiency. During the Pandemic she hasn't missed a beat. Her office has very high standards and is COVID compliant. I have referred her to extended family and friends. I hope she is within your network of dentist, because she is the one of the BEST that Greensboro has to offer.
