Dr. Do completed his undergraduate degree at UC Irvine, dental degree at New Jersey Dental School, and residency at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center. Now in private practice, he is a general dentist who is focused on keeping it simple. His goal is to create beautiful smiles through comfortable, convenient care.
His commitment to lifelong learning has earned him many recognitions. Dr. Do joins the ranks of 3% of dentists in the nation to have achieved a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentist (F.A.G.D.), an elite group that has been rigorously tested and have shown to demonstrate a wide range of dental knowledge. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.C.O.I.) and a Fellow of the Academy of GP Orthodontics (F.A.G.P.O.).
Dr. Jace Silcox is a born and raised Southeast Texan, but he moved up to DFW as soon as he could. He enjoys the DFW area and has always wanted to put down roots here after multiple visits back and forth from Waco to visit his wife Chloe, while both completing their degrees. On his journey here, Dr. Silcox completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University in Waco, TX (Sic em!). Then went on to complete his degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Dental School. While at UT San Antonio, he was trained in all aspects of Dentistry including but not limited to molar endodontics, esthetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Dr. Silcox is an avid techie and enjoys learning whenever he can. He finds Dentistry to be so much fun and believes that every day is a new opportunity to make an impression on a person or new patient at the practice. Dr. Silcox is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.
On his off days, Dr. Silcox enjoys being outside with his dog, kayaking, relaxing with his wife Chloe, and traveling the globe. He loves trying out new coffee shops and restaurants from DFW to Morocco!
Dr. Mara is originally from Jacksonville, Florida and completed his undergraduate courses at the University of North Florida. He then moved to Arizona where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Midwestern University. After having many fun adventures in Arizona, such as hiking the Grand Canyon and meeting his wife Sarah, Dr. Mara moved to Texas to be closer to family.
Dr. Mara is passionate about creating a great experience for his patients. He strives to provide the best care possible and takes continuing education courses to stay up to date on the most recent advancements in the dental field. Dr. Mara is a member of the Texas Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Originally from Commerce, Texas, Dr. Williams completed his undergraduate work at Texas A&M University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch Houston. Combining his extensive education with his many years of dental practice experience, Dr. Williams performs in-house oral surgery services for patients in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex areas.
Through his conservative approach to treatment, Dr. Williams values the opportunity to provide patients with anxiety-free extractions in the gentle and caring atmosphere of their home dentist. In addition to his many professional memberships, Dr. Williams is a past president of the 4thDistrict Dental Society and a two-time recipient of the Young Dentist of the Year award from the North Texas Dental Society.
Dr. Williams provides services in our office once a week for wisdom teeth extractions under I.V. Sedation. Intravenous Sedation, also known as Twilight or Conscious Sedation, will put you in a safe, relaxed, and comfortable state throughout your surgery. It is the most effective means of reducing awareness and anxiety for dental procedures. It is administered through an intravenous line (I.V.), and is therefore much more predictable in terms of effectiveness due to the quick onset of action. Although the patient is technically conscious throughout the procedure, in most cases, they will be completely unaware of the dental procedure. The disadvantage of conscious sedation is, of course, the increased cost and the need for an escort home after the procedure. But, for the patient who wants to be the most comfortable during the procedure, it is certainly the best way to go.

I went in for a dental emergency, they got me in the next day and were very nice and helpful! I hate going to the dentist and have a lot of anxiety when it comes to the dentist. There was no hidden fees or surprises, they gave me all my options and did not pressure me either way. I tried red oak out and they immediately made me feel at ease I would definitely recommend them to someone.

I needed a new dentist and I drive by RedOak often so I decided to look them up. Had my first appt today and loved them! Everyone was so nice, knowledgeable and friendly! Would recommend them to any and all!

OMG!! Best 1st time visit to a dentist office. Came in for an emergency visit for a 2nd option and they diagnosed the issue immediately. Saved me over 6k. The doctor explained everything and went over my options. They didn't let me leave the office in severe pain. Thank thank thank!!! Bring my entire family...

The office is lovely and so clean. The staff are all so kind and helpful. The equipment is state of the art. Dr Mark and Catherine explained everything so thoroughly. Shay explained the charges and talked to my insurance people to get me the best estimate on coverage. They spent a lot of time taking care of my immediate needs at my first appointment. I've got my follow up appointment and can't wait to see them again and it was all painless. They even provided me with a neck pillow when they saw on my chart that I had neck and back issues. I can't say enough great things about Red Oak Family Dentistry. In need of a dentist? Make an appointment. You'll be happy you did!

The absolute best Dental Team in Texas. You always walk away not feeling like you have been to the dentist. Today's visit. Walk in the door for my cleaning. Greeted right away and treated like I was their only customer ever to exist. Like a King. Walked out feeling like I had just gone to lunch with my best friends. That may be a little extreme but put it another way. My Blood Pressure elevates the second I walk into a dental office. Mine actually dropped today. That's how you will feel at Red Oak. Trust me. I avoid all Dentists for years.

I left Red Oak with a big smile on my face. The whole experience was great, I was scared for no reason! Andrea was so kind and gentle, she explained every step and that was very calming for me. Dr Mara was very nice also! I will definitely recommend Red Oak to anyone that needs a dentist.

I had a new crown installed and I'm very happy with the results. Dr. Silcox was very patient and made multiple adjustments until it felt perfect. The whole staff has been outstanding each time I'm in and I'm glad to know my family has great dental care at Red Oak.

Katheryn my hygienist was just fabulous. Dr Do has a diverse staff, various ethnic groups. To match the area we live unlike some places. My hygienist was Very personal, something that I value. She called me by name and allowed me to listen to my favorite classical music during cleaning. Dr. Do is savvy. Very professional and shows concern and comes in with a smile every time to me. On top of that, billing people give you everything in writing no surprises. I have never felt being taking advantage of since going to this dentist office.

8/9/22 Update Today's six month appointment was night and day compared to my visit on 2/1/22. Katy (Katie?) was my dental hygienist and did a superb job on cleaning my teeth. Personable, efficient and, best of all, pain free. Dr. Do then stopped by to finish the exam and was everything you'd hope for in a dentist; professional with a great bedside manner. Based on this experience today, I'm upping my rating to a 5 star, but doing so with some hesitation. Whatever conditions existed previously that created the environment for the former hygienist to even have a job, I don't know if those have been addressed. Today I had the lead hygienist and the owner of the business as my dentist - expectations were high and they were met. My only concern is what about the rest of the dental staff? I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt as I believe they delivered on what they promised and I see no reason why they won't continue to do so going forward. Thanks Katy and Dr. Do - well done. 2/2/22 Update Due to the negative nature of my Google review, I instantly heard from Dr. Do's staff as well as from Dr. Do. It seems they are doing everything possible to make this right, which I very much appreciate. I'm upping my rating from 1 to 3 stars based on their efforts to right the ship. My next appointment is in August and I will provide a final rating at that time. Thank you Dr. Do, Angelu and whoever else may have been involved in making this right. -Bob 2/1/22 This was third experience at Red Oak and it's time to move on. The dental hygienist never said a word other than "Open" and "Sorry". Never explained what she was getting ready to do, when she was finished, or any part of the procedure. They were fifteen minutes late getting me into the chair, even though I had a 7:30 appointment. The front desk staff is friendly enough. Unfortunately, this experience is going to force me to look for experienced, caring professionals. Red Oak has neither.

My second visit I had Natasha (hygienist) very nice and very professional.
