Dr. Steven Frost, an Arizona native comes from a family of dentists. His father was a general dentist for 36 years in Mesa and his twin brother is an orthodontist in Mesa, as well. He is the founder of Red Mountain Endodontics, which was established 26 years ago in 1994. He attended Brigham Young University and dental school at University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he received his DDS degree. He received his endodontic specialty training certificate at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
Dr. Frost is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and the Arizona State Dental Association. Dr. Frost loves and values time with his wifeRhondaand their family. With five boys, one daughter, four daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren; life is crazy fun!
Dr. Hamberlin is also a native Arizonan. After attending college in Arizona, he went on to San Francisco, University of the Pacific where he graduated valedictorian of his 1997 class. After dental school, Dr. Hamberlin specialized in endodontics at the University of Washington where he graduated in 1999.
Dr. Hamberlin is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and the Arizona State Dental Association. Dr. Hamberlin has too many hobbies to keep up with; basically if it is outdoors, hes there. Quad riding, hunting, fishing and anything with his family are his favorites.
Steven Richardson graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health and worked as a general dentist in Phoenix and Chandler for two years before completing his endodontic specialty training and Masters of Science in Endodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined Red Mountain Endodontics in 2012. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. Dr Richardson served as President of the Arizona Endodontic Association in 2019.
Dr. Woods is a second-generation dentist following in his fathers footsteps. Dr. Woods grew up in Mesa, AZ, where he went to Mountain View High school. He did his undergraduate studies at Arizona State and then attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry on an Army Scholarship. He practiced four years of general dentistry in the Army before specializing in endodontics.
During his time as a general dentist, he deployed to Iraq for a year. While serving in Iraq, Dr. Woods decided he wanted to specialize in endodontics, and after returning he completed his endodontic training at the University of Iowa. Dr. Woods became a Diplomate in the American Board of Endodontics in 2015. After 10 years of active duty service, he returned to Mesa to be closer to family and practice in the community he grew up in. Dr. Woods joined Red Mountain Endodontics in 2019. Dr. Woods loves to put patients at ease and strives to provide the best experience possible.

Wish I could do 5 stars for the specialists here and 1 star for the receptionist, Lisa. Lisa was incredibly, incredibly short tempered and passive aggressive and even raised her voice to me while I was trying to schedule an appointment. I just read through the reviews and I'm actually the THIRD person on here to complain about LISA'S ATTITUDE. Listen up Red Mountain, Listen to your patients! Get rid of Lisa!! She's making your rating go down, which will eventually lead to lost patients. Please hire someone friendly to answer the phones!!!!!!!! Dr. Johnson & Dr. Woods are both great here though.

Gave me a price over the phone came in for root canal was supposed to be $400 ish. As I was sitting in the charge about to get drilled on they hit me for an additional $70. The finance lady was super rude her name was LESA. Left and they changed the price again to $1700. Very unethical .

Hi everyone, my name is Jack and I want to tell everyone about my experience with Red Mountain Endodontics! In 3 words, Compassionate, excellent, professional! I had 2 root canals done by Dr. Richardson and his assistant ??. They make the fear of Dental work go away. I absolutely recommend them to anyone needing Their services!

I found myself in need of two emergency root canals. Red Mountain Endodontics was very accommodating scheduling me within days. I'm not dentist-phobic, but neither am I a fan, Dr Scott Johnson and staff has just changed my opinion. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I departed, they made me feel as if my comfort was their topmost priority. The most painful part of the procedure, beside the bill , was the injection to establish the pain block, and that was very uncomfortable at most. I was able to eat dinner the very same night. I can not recommend this facility enough.
