Dr. Christopher Armento, a native to New Jersey, grew up in North Caldwell. For Dr. Armento dentistry is a family affair. In addition to his father being an orthodontist, his two brothers are also practicing dentists.
Dr. Armento received his Bachelor of Artsdegree from the University of Delaware and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he earned Deans List Honors. During his time in dental school, Dr. Armento completed an externship program in Arizona, providing dental care through the Indian Health Service (IHS) to an under-served population. He then chose to continue his training by completing a general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He is now the assistant director of that program and works with the current residents twice a week, providing them with guidance, knowledge and confidence to treat patients in the dental clinic.In his spare time,Dr. Armento enjoys playing guitar, cooking, trying fine wines, and spending time with his wife, Lisa and their two sons Benjamin and John.
Dr. Lisa Indelicato was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. At a very young age she knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry and began working in a dental officeby the age of 15. Dr. Indelicato graduated from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. There she completed a pre-dental curriculum and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. Dr. Indelicato received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she earned Deans List Honors. After graduation, she chose to continue her training by completing a general practice residency program at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
For Dr. Indelicato, Red Barn Dental is a dream come true and her enthusiasm for the dental profession continues to grow stronger every day. She is committed to providing each and every patient with the highest quality of care. In her spare time, Dr. Indelicato enjoys visiting her family and friends on Staten Island, cooking, going to the beach and spending time with her husband, Chris and their two sons Benjamin and John.
Drs. Christopher Armento and Lisa Indelicato are both active members of the Monmouth Ocean County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association and the American Dental Association. They enhance their dental education and clinical skills by regularly attending continuing education courses and are committed to providing patients with the latest techniques and technology to ensure optimal oral health.

Dr's and staff are caring and accommodating. The office is clean and organized. My boys love the cool decor at Red Barn Dental.

My children and I have been going here for years, always with a positive experience. I started feeling unwell the Sunday prior to a Monday appointment, and my husband had just tested + for covid. I highly suspected I was also coming down with covid. They wanted to charge me a $50 fee for not canceling 24hrs in advance. No mention of whether they hope our family is ok and recovers, not a care in the world about our health. Isn't this a "doctor" after all? Am I supposed to come in with covid?? We can't always know we're sick 24hrs in advance and I was completely taken aback. We've sadly had to part ways over this experience

About two weeks ago went for a check up and cleaning. It was my first time going to this practice. My dental hygienist Sam did a very thorough cleaning and was very gentle! I think she did a great job! Dr. Armento was great too. Would definitely recommend.

I was looking for a new dentist after some visits to some not so great ones in the area. Red Barn Dental is highly recommended in Middletown so I have them a try. I went for my first visit yesterday and it's safe to say I've found my new dentist! I loved Red Barn Dental as soon as I walked in from the kind and welcoming receptionist to the warm and cozy waiting area. I didn't have to wait long at all. Dr. Armento was very thorough and personable. He was honest and found no problems which was reassuring. It was very evident that Dr. Armento is passionate about his job and practice and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He definitely makes sure his patients are satisfied and does a thorough cleaning. I highly recommend Dr. Armento and his practice, Red Barn Dental!

Simply said, Red Barn Dental is the best. This week I called their office due to a severe toothache only to find that they were closed, Dr Chris and Dr Lisa not only took my call but opened their practice to me and assured I didn't suffer any longer than necessary. I cannot share enough gratitude to them , their commitment to patients is evident and exceptional

Red Barn it is after reading all the dated positive reviews. I'm a simple client. Never had a cavity and visit a dentist twice a year for basic/preventative cleanings. I know how hard it can be to find a good office so below is my experience, following two visits. 1st Visit 12/2020: Red Barn billed Aetna, in-network, for a X-Ray that never happened. The machine was not working this day. Foul ball. After reviewing my statement I called Linda to amend the bill but she never did. Strike one Linda. Cleaning was simply okay. 2nd Visit 6/2021: Arrived at 5:55 for my 6PM and was greeted by Linda outside, as she was walking out. Linda told me to have a seat in the waiting area and that someone will be with me shortly. 25 minutes later Reza walked into the lobby and apologized b/c she did not know I was waiting. No worries, but strike two for Linda. Fluoride was not offered. How many chances does Red Barn want? Linda called days later and said Aetna does not cover the entire visit leaving me with a $24 balance which did not include the x-Ray. This would have been nice to know following my first visit if billing was done correctly. Strike three Linda got very defensive and took it personal over the phone when I decided to cancel my visits going forward. Three strike Linda started to boil over the phone so that was it for me. I canceled my future visits, my wife's first visit, and passed on making my daughter an appointment. Time to move on. Aetna was alerted and, Lindsey, called Red Barn on my behalf to follow up. I was told that they will open an investigation against Red Barn due to my issue but mostly the billing practice. A $24 check is coming your way RB. I hope this review helps. Good luck.

Hands down the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. The building and office are so unique. The music is great, which I realize isn't something you usually think of when going to the dentist but it helps set the mood. The Hygienists, Danielle and Holly are amazing. I had Dr Lisa for my exam and she was great. Explained everything, didn't over treat, very conservative. I'll see Dr Chris next time, I have no doubt he's just as great based on word of mouth. Best dentist office I've ever been in. I have moved away from NJ and still manage to set appointments just with RED BARN DENTAL. They have the best doctors. DR. Lisa & DR. Chris always know how to make your visit worth it ! Love all the staff members especially Reza shes the sweetest most hardworking dental Assistant. Professional staff highly recommend dentist office

Doctors are fine. The front office manager is a disaster. Obstructive, and unfriendly, control freak in the worst way. I just hated dealing with her and refuse to go there any more. They have too much attention on themselves.

Omg!!! I've always hated going to the dentist!! They always say "oh he/she is the greatest blah blah blah...but I was amazed by the professionalism and the actual results of my root canal. No pain whatsoever and dr Chris is the man! Makes you feel at home and thouroughly explains it all step by step. I would recommend this dentist to everyone

Red Barn Dental is AMAZING! Dr. Chris is phenomenal! If you need him in an emergency, he is always there; willing to come into the office .. even on a Sunday!
