Dr. Carole Sherrod Jewell has been helping people maintain healthy teeth and gums and providing beautiful smiles for almost 50 years. She began her dental career at the age of 13 as a young girl working for the neighborhood dentist in Red Bank, New Jersey. At 20 she became a registered dental hygienist. She enjoyed helping her patients so much that after 14 years she decided to go back to dental school and become a dentist. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1987 and in 1993 she purchased the very building where she began her career. Today she is still practicing dentistry at the same office where her dental career began over 50 years ago.
Dr. Sherrod Jewell has built a reputation as a friendly, hardworking and compassionate dentist. She welcomes all new patients with open arms and strives to be the best dentist she can be. Her patients will tell you that when youre here youre not just a patient, youre part of the family!

When I was eight years old I decided that I wanted to be a dentist just like my aunt. When I was 13 I started working in her office. I started by pulling charts, answering the phone, and helping to clean up the rooms after patients. As I got older I learned how to assist, to pour models, and run the front desk.
I graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School in 2007 where I was a 3-sport varsity athlete and an honor student. After graduation, I went to Rowan University majoring in Biology. I then attended New York University where I earned a Masters Degree in Oral Biology while working part time at NYU Law School.
While at NYU Dental School I sat on the boards for the American Dental Education Association and the AIDS Awareness Society at NYU. I was on the Peer Review Board as well as a student ambassador and peer mentor. I also participated in the leadership track, and was a teaching assistant for younger students.
Throughout my journey I have never lost sight of what I wanted my end goal to beto come back to the place where I fell in love with dentistry to the place where I would do my homework after school to the place where my aunt and my mother fulfilled their dreams and became successes- to the place where I feel at home. I am honored and humbled to be able to come back and walk through the pink front door that helped mold me into the person I have become. But most of all I look forward to meeting and treating all of the wonderful patients at Red Bank Dentistry and continue on the tradition of love and caring that my aunt began here 26 years ago.
My fillings went great for me. The novicane worked wonderfully on me. I came home and ate dinner immediately afterwards without any discomfort. Everyone at this office is super friendly and it is nostalgic to talk about our pasts.

I am a new patient and saw Dr Pauline. She is fantastic. Made me comfortable and relaxed from being so nervous and did a painless filling. Joanne is the hygienist there and the best ever.

The staff is always such a pleasure! Dr. Jewell is the nicest, most gentle, and best Dentist! And I do not like going to the dentist! I've been going to Red Bank dentistry for years now. Dr. Pauline, Joann the hygienist and the girls at the front desk Kathy and Jeanie are great too! They do treat you like family who really care about you. They are the best! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

We had a tough time finding a dentist we liked that would take our insurance. The Red Bank Dentistry office is pleasant and professional. They were extremely helpful when making the appointment.I was taken right back to Dr. Pauline when I came in. She is very thorough and explained everything she did. It was very pleasurable considering it being a dental appointment.

Love Red Bank Dentistry! Have been coming here for many many years even after I've moved out of the area. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. They always do an oral cancer check which many dentists don't do. Going to the dentist is never fun but I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Dr. Pauline and Kathy were very kind, helpful, and profesional. I did not feel as it was my first time at their office, or I was a new patient. Love also the fact that they have their own parking spaces.

Dr. Robinson is the best! As someone who does not particularly like going to the dentist, she makes you feel very comfortable throughout the entire visit. She is extremely thorough and explains everything to you in a detailed and understandable manner.
