She then went on to receive a partial scholarship to attend Ohio State University. She completed her degree and graduated in 2001. In 2001 Dr. Bhatia traveled to Texas and later completed her residency at the VA hospital in Temple, TX. She decided to open her first dental practice in 2005 and now opened her dental practice here in Leander in 2019. She has made the Austin area of Texas her home, partially, because of her love for live music and festivals. Dr. Bhatia is also very passionate about volunteer services, especially, organizations that feed the homeless and aid victims of domestic violence. Kids Against Hunger, Safeplace and Asian Family Support Services, just to name a few. Dr. Bhatia is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Central Texas Dental Society and Hispanic Dental Association. In her spare time she loves spending time with her three children, twin boys and a daughter. She also has a passion for traveling and dancing. With the change in ownership, came the change in staff and a HUGE change in the quality of service. The one woman we encountered at check in was very kind and welcoming however the staff that work behind the scenes i.e. dental assistants don't acknowledge you nor your child, they just start telling them what to do. And when she was done she proceeded to clear the area and walked away without saying anything. I kept my son here because I liked the environment, however it looks like it's time to move him to Poplin pediatric dentistry like his little sister.

They'll say they take your insurance. They'll then say they're calling to confirm coverage. They'll have you pay a lot out of pocket when they claim they had trouble confirming with the promise of reimbursement later. You'll have to follow up a few times. Then they will say they don't, in fact, take your plan and that you're SOL. Stay far away.

Red Balloon has an exceptional staff! The offices and workspaces are so clean and sanitized. My little one needed dental treatment and the staff was so patient and kind. They made sure she felt safe and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this office.

comfortable and clean office. Front desk and staff are all very welcoming and professional and the murals paintings of Disney characters on the walls always puts a joy in my heart and reminds me of being a kids again I love this dentist office

I really wanted to love Little Explorers - I saw all the amazing reviews and surely thought it would be a great experience. At 6 months old this was his first appointment at the dentist (I was already super nervous because first time experience and Covid), the dentist rushed in did his exam told us a few things and rushed out. She didn't even acknowledge my son and couldn't answer if it looked like he had teeth coming in? She honestly didn't even introduce herself or try to get to know us at all. I'm really only giving an extra star because the assistant to the dentist was amazing, she was super sweet and stayed behind to answer any questions and tell us my son did really good. The place is super cute and overall would have been a better experience had the dentist done a better job at even trying to act like she cared.

I had to change dentist since every time I took my child for an appointment, it was a different dentist and I didn't like that. That was when it was Little Explorers. Although the whole looks, the wall art is amazing for the little ones.

This was our sons first dental appointment at 6 months and from the moment we stepped in to the very moment we left it was all a great experience! The front desk ladies are so professional and kind, the atmosphere was wonderful and the entire facility is clean!!! Automatically a five star in my book. Dr.Sanders was amazing to our son and she was so informative on so many different levels. We're so grateful to have found such a great place for our son! Highly recommended for every child.

HIGHLY recommend Little Explorers Pediatric Dentistry! My son's very 1st appointment at 6 months was such an AMAZING experience! The staff is SO friendly, welcoming, and quick! We had an appointment at 11am and were in and out by 11:20am!! Not only is the office extremely clean and FUN (Peep all of the beautiful hand-painted murals!!), the doctors are great and listen to all of your concerns and answer questions. Dr. Trahan was our dentist and she was so sweet, upbeat, positive, and just amazing! HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to establish their pediatric dentist OR switch to Little Explorers! We cannot wait to go back for his 1 year checkup!

Dr and Staff is beyond Amazing !!! They are respectful, quick to respond to any questions you may have and very nice, make u feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door all the way till you check out... Leslie has been a very helpful and made me feel like my daughter was not just a patient but a priority to the Drs Office. I would recommend this Dentist office to all parents.

Great staff, helpful and informative. The hygienist turned was so sweet and patient with my son and turned this in to a dream visit. The cartoon murals are beautiful and the kids love them.

This place is amazing, the staff is awesome , the atmosphere, everything is perfect. Ms Margarita is the most loving & caring person, she treated my daughters like if they were their own. Dr Sam is amazing, so professional and works really fast, he's always looking for the comfort and well being of the kids.

This is the kind of place that truly gets what pediatric means. From the atmosphere, to the set up of the facility, to the way the treat kids. It's amazing how caring and considerate they are. Love this place and definitely recommend it.
