Dr. Rebecca Jordan was born and raised in Braxton County, West Virginia. She has been passionate about dentistry since she was in the third grade. She eventually made her way to West Virginia University where she completed her DDS in 2004. Then she went on to complete a 3 year residency to earn a Masters in Prosthodontics in 2007. After meeting her future husband in Columbus, Dr. Jordan was able to relocate to central Ohio.

Knowing she wanted to have a family while still running a dental practice, Dr. Rebecca Jordan chose to make her dental home in Delaware, Ohio and fell in love with the people and small town feel. Since becoming a practice owner in 2011, Dr. Jordan has gone on to have two beautiful little girls while maintaining a thriving, top-rated dental practice. She is continuously educating herself and her patients on topics that really matter to peoples health especially when it comes to tongue-ties and all the ways a persons whole health starts in the mouth.

Dr. Jordan first became aware of the significance of tongue and lip ties and why they need to be corrected when her own daughter needed treatment back in 2014. After recognizing the need for more providers in Central Ohio and beyond, Dr. Jordan received training by other experienced professionals in the field and started seeing babies in the office in the fall of 2014.

Our Delaware, Ohio office reflects the passion of Dr. Rebecca Jordan by providing a safe and loving environment to all families. She is committed to delivering the very best in dental care to all those that walk through her front door. A happy smile and a healthy body is the hallmark of her practice. By not only looking at the mouth but at the whole person, we believe you will love your dental home here with us.

We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Chelsea George to our team in late 2021! This is exciting to us on many levels. Her addition allows us to better serve you and your general dental care and needs while Dr. Jordan is able to provide more care towards helping families affected by tongue and lip-ties as well as holistic and airway-centered dentistry.

Dr. Chelsea grew up outside of Toledo in Maumee, Ohio. She first became interested in teeth when she was 6 years old. It was then that she jumped off of a swing and landed face first, chipping her front tooth. Her family dentist was able to bond her tooth and it amazed her that he was able to make it look the same. In junior high she spent two and a half years in braces (and headgear) During that time she was astonished by how much her teeth were able to move. While shadowing her family dentist in high school, he described dentistry as a great combination of science and art. Dr. Chelsea grew up drawing and painting and always enjoyed putting things back together. It was at this point that she realized that dentistry was her calling.

Dr. Chelsea and her husband, Jordan Brenner, have two daughters and a son; Blake, Cameron, and Dane and another little one expected late spring of 2022! When shes not busy chasing around her little ones, she enjoys cheering on the Buckeyes.

Please meet the team at Rebecca Jordan Family Dentistry. Your team, both clinical and administrative, are a well-educated and extremely talented group of dental professionals committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding experience each and every time you visit our practice.

Heather came on with Dr. Jordan in June of 2015 as Office Manager. Her experience as a dental hygienist for 10 years, mixed with a gift for administration and passion for dentistry made her a perfect fit to run the Delaware practice. Heather has made her home in the City of Delaware with her husband and three girls. When shes not managing the office or her home, Heather and her family are most likely exploring a local park or enjoying time with friends and family.

Nicona joined our practice in 2012 after first meeting Dr. Jordan while serving her sushi at Kooma in Columbus. The connection was meant to be!! Nicona joined the team while she was finishing her bachelors degree in dental hygiene at Ohio State.A country girl at her core, Nicona can most often be found in her barn with her two horses and goats or out on the town with friends and family in Powell.

Mandi joined us in early 2020 as we continued to grow our practice. She brings over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She and her family live nearby in Powell. Mandi is a yoga and travel enthusiast and can often be found lost in a good book.

Vesta became a member of Dr. Rebecca Jordans team in January of 2015 when her previous dentist reached retirement. She brought with her an expertise in making people feel welcomed and right at home when they walk through our doors. Vesta is always happy to lend a listening ear or share with anyone one of the many adventures of her grand-babies or recent sewing projects.

A loving mother of two, Mandi joins us with her positive attitude and great big heart. Always ready to lend a hand or ear, Mandi is most often found multi-tasking around the office. She currently lives in Sunbury with her family and loves that she can be so close to home and family while doing what she loves here in our office.

We were referred to Dr. Jordan for my newborn sons tongue tie and lip tie. I could not have asked for a more friendly and professional staff! We were so hesitant to do the procedure but regret nothing. The entire staff was great.

Dr Jordan revised my baby's lip and tongue ties. Her and the nurses were all really sweet and professional, and I felt comfortable trusting baby with them. Worth the drive and the cost!

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Jordan and her staff! My son had a tongue and lip tie that Dr. Jordan corrected. I was able to feed my son immediately afterwards and was amazed at how easily he was able to latch and nurse. I especially appreciated the private nursing rooms within her office with sound machines and nursing pillows. Thank you for changing my son's life Dr. Jordan!

We have been going for a year for my youngest daughter, and made an appt for my special needs adult daughter. Abigail (8) was describing Dr. Jordan and her staff, calming her sister down. "Imagine beautiful angels. And they happen to work in a dentist office. That's what it is like."

Dr Jordan came highly recommended by our chiropractor, but we've had nothing but problems at this office from day 1--extremely long wait times (hours) due to understaffing & dental emergencies (this happened 3x) and would say unprofessional things like "we haven't had time to take a lunch yet" and "we still need to have a family life too". Each of those goes without saying, IMO and no one said she shouldn't have lunch or a family life--this isn't something she needs to be putting on her patient's shoulders who are there for a service, IMO...I wish this was the worst of it, but sadly it's not. At our appointments in March she never went over our daughter's scan once it was done, so I had no idea why the appliance was even needed for her, or exactly what her problems were. At the appointment in April I asked if she could go over our daughter's scan, but she (once again) was too busy to go over it. At this same appointment I had a scan done, but she didn't have time to go over mine either--they assured me it's not normally like this she would look over the results and email me with what she see's from them. We never received an email. At our next appointments in June, Dr Jordan accused our daughter of losing her bottom appliance, which had never been put on in the first place, which I thought was weird & had asked our chiropractor (who referred us) if it was normal to only have a top appliance. She responded "I don't think so--I've only seen top and bottom", but since we never got the results of the scan we didn't even know how many appliances where needed, and what it was needed for in the first place. Dr Jordan actually asked our daughter, "What did you do with the bottom piece?" but our daughter had no clue what she was talking about. She told me she has buttons on the teeth and that means she put it on her. I said, "well I don't know what to tell you bc she never got it in." She said kids all the time hide them when they come out." I just happened to take a picture of the impressions with the appliance sitting there that day and there was only one--I tried showing her the picture--she said well I don't know because the hygienist who was working with her that day isn't working here anymore to ask. She said she has no proof of anything bc Braylee wouldn't let her take a picture that day. I said, "you wouldn't even try!" She said ,"yeah because she was upset from getting the ALF in." I said, "she may not have liked getting the ALF in, but you never attempted to take a picture and she would have let you." When she informed me that Braylee was going to need another impression to send to the lab to get a new one, I said "I'm not paying for a new one when I never received it in the first place. She replied, "I don't need your attitude." I told her I am very unhappy with this issue and with all the other problems--it seems like it's been one thing after another since we've been there, and she had the nerve to reply, "well I'm sorry you don't feel like you are getting the royal treatment". I responded "I don't think it's too much to ask to get what I've paid for." She told me she doesn't have time to argue with me--and at another point said she is not going to argue with me. I told her that was fine, but I felt like I've been more than understanding with everything that has happened considering we have been there 2x when she has had emergency dental patients and have had to wait for hours. Within her spout of attitude I got to hear (all over again )about all her office problems again from being over booked to staffing problems, etc. but this time I stood there and dismissively listened--I said "yes I've heard all of this already, but I wanted to let you know that I did discuss all of our issues with our chiropractor who referred us so she was aware of what's going on since she is referring people to you." All of that was just from the appointment in June. Then in August we had more issues which prompted me to write this review. Dr Jordan accused our 2 daughter's of switching their appliances, which is impossible. We are fed up.

Dr. Jordan skillfully and effectively released my 2-year-old's tongue and lip tie. She sang songs with her to put her at ease and completed both procedures with absolutely zero tears. She and her staff were wonderful, and it was worth every penny.

My first visit was lovely, She really took her time, and explained everything before my daughter's tongue and lip tie. They told me upfront that I would need to pay upfront and then send it in to my insurance. However, they also told me that they were in my network. What they failed to mention was they are in-network as a DDS not a medical provider. The procedure that I was asking about was a medical procedure and they are not in-network as a medical provider. This was pretty misleading and I later found out that the insurance would not cover it. I should have maybe called the insurance company and asked them for the codes and double-checked, but with a 2 day old baby ( he one getting the surgery) I didn't even think to do that. I had a cleaning appointment for my three-year-old today. The person cleaning was amazing. She made my toddler very comfortable and was patient and it went very well. But then when Dr. Jordan came in she said a lot of things very quickly I did not understand about a tongue tie my son has. It was very confusing and I wasn't sure what I was needing to do or schedule when I left. Every visit has been half a 10/10 and half a 2/10. So I am not really sure how I feel about this place. I wish I was in a position where having to pay $615 dollars and not be reimbursed wasn't a huge deal, but for me it is. I should have done more research upfront. But I think it is fair to criticize, being told they are in my network when they knew why I was coming in, and then later finding out they are not in-network for that specific service. That is very frustrating an honestly a financial burden that was unnecessary.

We are so thankful we were referred to Dr. Jordan for our daughter's lip and tongue tie. Our daughter was struggling with eating solid foods. We took her to our local pediatric dentist who diagnosed her with a lip and tongue tie and suggested we take her to Dr. Jordan for a revision. Dr. Jordan and all her staff are all amazing. They explain everything in great detail and make sure you feel completely comfortable with the procedure as well as the after care. Dr. Jordan makes sure to also explain the how and why so that you can fully understand the process. I would highly recommend this office!

First visit went very well. I haven't seen a dentist in 2 years due to the anxieties of going to see one. At my previous dentist I remembered long waits in the lobby, in the chair, and between technician and doctor communications. When I arrived I was promptly checked in--and before this process was finished, Stacy was ready to start my appointment. They were very polite and patient in listening to my concerns/dental history. They gave me breaks when I needed to--accommodating any anxieties I had. Dr. Gavin (I think that was her name... I'm terrible with names...) was nothing short of warm, welcoming, and friendly. Everything I don't remember about my previous dentists. I was so impressed with the compassionate care at this office. At the end of my visit they recommended continued care and teeth cleaning techniques that would aide in my dental concerns. The receptionists were very kind in helping me sort out my dental insurance. I had mistakenly given them the wrong insurance information and they were able to resolve this issue without even bothering me! Overall I would highly recommend this office to anyone. Especially to those that have concerns and anxieties about visiting a dentist. EDIT:: Also, the staff gave me no grief over my chronic allergies. I'm usually so embarrassed about my stuffy nose and muffle speech. I hardly even remembered it was an issue. Very impressive, seeing as they're working around the primary suspect. (Obviously I hardly remembered--I had to come back and edit the post to make note!!!)
