Dr. Aman Kumar is a native of Jersey City, New Jersey, and moved to Middletown, New York, during his teens. He attended SUNY Fredonia earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry with honors. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine in their inaugural class and received the Horace Wells Award in Dental Anesthesiology. He then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Faxton-St. Lukes Hospital in Utica, NY, and received intensive training with respect to the pediatric, geriatric, and special needs populations.

Dr. Aman Kumar strives to stay current in the era of modern dentistry with an emphasis on dental technologies, dental materials, cosmetics, and surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and is recognized as a Fellow by the World Class Laser Institute.

In his spare time, Dr. Kumar enjoys learning magic tricks, cooking just about anything, reading, weight training, hiking, kayaking, and performing bhangra, a Punjabi folk dance. He is a first-generation dentist and speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi.

All of the staff are trained to provide professional and courteous service. Their purpose is to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible. And they are committed to providing you with the highest level of dental care. They all have CPR training and attend many hours of continuing education seminars. They are able to answer questions you might have regarding your treatment, scheduling, and many other issues that might arise.

Our front office team is composed of Kate, Kaitlin, and Sierra. Their job is to make your dental experience as effortless as possible. Together they coordinate scheduling, insurance benefits, and financial issues.

Our hygienists are Jeanette, Bridget, Pam, Erin, Taryn, and Jessica. They have extensive training in recognition of and treating gum disease. They are passionate about hygiene, love educating their patients, and helping them achieve optimal oral health. They understand the important relationship between good dental health and good overall health.

Kaitlin was born and raised in Little Falls NY, and went on to further her education at Herkimer College followed by Buffalo State College. Kaitlin has a long history of customer service and making people smile. While at the office you can find her at the front desk, however on the weekend Kaitlin is most likely on the boat fishing with her husband and pup!

Sierra is one of our front desk associates. She began her college career at SUNY Oneonta and completed her studies at Utica College in 2010 with a degree in Psychology Child Life. She is at her best when she is helping others. On the weekends you can find Sierra hiking and exploring with her son and those close to her.

Kate is the newest member of our front office. She grew up in New Hartford and brings almost 20 years of dental experience to our team. With her expertise and knowledge, she will be happy to help with any scheduling, financial, or insurance questions you may have. Kate lives in Marcy with her fianc and 3 teenage children. When not working you will find her attending her kids' sporting events, reading, or making handmade holiday ornaments for her Etsy business.

Jeanette has worked as a dental professional for over 40 years, joining Reaves Dental in 2005. She is a 1993 graduate of Broome County Community College Dental Hygiene School. Jeanette is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and past President, Secretary, and Treasurer for the Mohawk Valley Dental Hygienists Association. She has served on the Advisory Boards of both Broome County Community College and SUNY Canton Dental Hygiene School. She enjoys helping her patients improve and maintain their oral health.

Bridget was born and raised in Rochester, New York and has been practicing for 13 years after graduating from Monroe Community College in 2006. She lives in Sauquoit with her husband Josh and their two little girls. She has really enjoyed meeting, connecting, and educating many patients throughout the years. One of her favorite parts of being a hygienist is meeting with patients one-on-one and knows that the work she does helps her patients keep healthy smiles for a lifetime. When Bridget is not at work, she is a busy mom that enjoys exploring anywhere and everywhere on day trips with her family. She is also a bit of a country music junkie, and a big Disney Parks fan!

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Pam had to follow her first love teeth! She immediately enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at MCC in Rochester, NY. Her knowledge of dental hygiene continues to grow as she has been part of dental hygiene study groups and yearly continuing education classes.

Now that her four children are grown; Pam is a bit of a homebody. Her usual activities include learning about health, gardening playing the clarinet, reading, genealogy, attending and serving in church and of course, traveling to visit her kids and grandkids!

Erin is a 1997 graduate of Broome Community College of Dental Hygiene. Erin has been part of the Reaves Dental Team since 2018. She has the ability to make everyone with whom she comes in contact feel like a long lost friend, even when they are meeting her for the very first time. Patients and staff love to comment on the laughter coming from her room. Erin prides herself on building trusting relationships with our patients.

Taryn graduated from the SUNY Canton dental hygiene program in 2017. Taryn is passionate about dental hygiene and loves providing high quality care to all of her patients. One of her favorite parts of dental hygiene is getting to know her patients and educating them on how to maintain good oral health. Taryn grew up locally and still resides in the Utica area with her husband and two children. When she's not working with patients she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys camping, reading and being outdoors

Jessica is a 2000 graduate of Broome Community College of Dental Hygiene. She is a new part of our growing dental team starting in 2020. She enjoys meeting and connecting with her patients and helping them to achieve optimum dental health. At home she is a busy mom that enjoys doing everything and anything outdoors she can. Skiing, hiking, biking, camping, running... you name it and she is up for the adventure!

Cathy has been a dental assistant since 1981. She graduated from Monroe Community College in 2010 as a Certified Licensed Dental Assistant, enabling her to make temporary crowns and attaching orthodontic wires. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimum oral health and improving their smiles. Her experience provides clinical skills in all aspects of general dentistry, including dental implant surgery.

Kelly has been a Dental Assistant since 2005. She came aboard the Reaves Dental Team in 2009, where she quickly became part of the family. Her job enables her to help patients who have dental fears and allow them to leave feeling at ease and smiling through the positive life-changing results our dentistry can provide. In her spare time, she enjoys watching football, especially the Jets, with her husband and two children, shopping, traveling, and being outdoors.

Kayla Started with Reaves Dental in 2015. She is one of our Dental Assistants and you can usually find her in the back singing away. Kayla lives in Sauquoit with her family, loves to travel, and loves dogs. Ask her about her doggies, shell be more than happy to show you all of their adorable photos!

Azra was born in Bosnia. She has been a dental assistant for three years now and absolutely loves it! When she is not working in the office, she designs and creates gowns. Azra has been a fashion designer and has owned her own fashion studio in Bosnia for seven years now. In her free time, she loves to paint pictures, hike, and travel.

Renee has been a Dental Assistant since 2007. Born and raised in Utica, she recently moved back to Central New York and joined our Reaves Dental team. Renee brings with her about 15 years of experience in the dental field which included working with active-duty military members are Fort Drum. In her free time, Renee loves crafting, cooking and baking delicious treats, and spending time with family.
