I have had bad experiences at other dental offices, so I've been skeptical in finding a new one. I've now been to this office twice this year and have had very good experiences with kind and knowledgable staff who genuinely care about their patients.

Not worth the $500 they will charge you for an exam and cleaning. They had an assistant perform my x-rays who absolutely did not have enough experience to be doing so independently. The toothbrush during my cleaning went so fast it was mildly painful, which the hygienist repeatedly apologized for and tried to find a different set. Individual workers are doing their best but the leadership/management have some improvements to make.

I was very nervous going to the dentist like the other 99% of you. These folks were very thorough and comforting! Can't ask more from a dentist than what this dentist office delivers. Very polite and gentle people here, I highly recommend. I drive 40 minutes just to go to this specific office and I plan to do it again and again.

This practice keeps changing dentists and hygienist. Dr Byrd and Sonya are gone !!! Today was my LAST visit. I got the worst cleaning and polish. My hygienist stabbed me 3 times with the descaler that she barely used and did NOT know how to use the polisher. Paid for fluoride that I had to ask for 3 times and she never took the time to paint on. Secondly, and most importantly, they wanted cash up front for an upcoming appointment to replace my leaking filling and sign a contract. Turnover speaks volumes about this money hungry drive through dentistry this practice has become.

Sonya was my dental hygienist. She was kind and I had a great cleaning. However, she was pushy and tried to show me many times how to make a review about her on my phone. Saying, she'll get a bonus. This was awhile ago. I like my main dentist, she's nice. But they are all so pushy and ask to make reviews.

I am giving the dental practice 3 out of 5. As a new patient, I had a crown put on one of my teeth. The dental work gets a 5 of 5 and the front office personnel I dealt with gets a 2 of 5. Had several issues with the front office. #1, I asked if I could get a free initial crown estimate, was told yes and setup an appointment. Shortly after my appointment, Delta Dental sent me an EOB saying the dental practice had submitted a $150- claim for a 'limited' evaluation. #2, after the initial evaluation, was given a preliminary estimate and offered a 5% discount if I agreed to immediately proceed with the crown. I agreed. Mistake, the crown actually cost hundreds of dollars more than the initial estimate. #3, I called to complain about the crown costing several hundred dollars more than the initial estimate. Instead of being told the office made a mistake, I was told that I was out of network with Delta Dental and was lucky to get the 'allowed' Delta Dental rate. Well, two minutes later, I was on the phone with Delta Dental and customer service said yes, I was in network with the practice. Bottom line, patients need to be given solid and accurate financial information when spending 100s, 1000s of dollars on dental work. I was not provided solid nor accurate information related to my crown.

Waited for 1.5 hours in exam chair for a cleaning that o has appointment for. No one to clean teeth in office. I wasted my time and my parent. Now i will reschedule a cleaning with another office . All they wanted to do was sell a treatment plan and i was there for a cleaning that never happened.

Professional in every way imaginable from the time one walks in the front door until their departure. Courteous, knowledgeable and customer service oriented front desk staff followed by in-service dentistry which is communicative, highly skilled, extremely sensitive at all times to patients' comfort, compassionate and overall the best dentistry practice I've had the privilege of experiencing. I highly recommend this outstanding practice, and am spreading the good word enthusiastically to family and friends.

I had my first visit with them due to a slight emergency, and I just loved the staff and Dr. Byrd right away. I just had a great warm feeling and could feel her compassion and understanding when I talked with her. I now plan on having her as my dentist permanently and I am so happy I found her, and that they were willing to see me last minute, and I feel very blessed and fortunate!

I dread going to the dentist and had a wonderful experience at Reading Dental Associates. Amy was warm and welcoming at the front desk and Sandi ensured I was comfortable and the room was clean, sanitized, orderly. I was very impressed. I'll be moving my husband and son to this practice as well. I was very impressed with Dr. Byrd as well, who patiently explained and discussed options with me and created a plan I was comfortable with.
