Dr.Owusu-Boahene grew up in New Zealand where she completed her dental training at theUniversity of Otago Faculty of Dentistry. She enhanced her clinical experience as a visiting clerk in the Department of Dental Specialties atMayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She later joined a busy practice in Andover; a small town nestled in the English countryside about 70 miles from London.
After moving to the United StatesDr. Owusu-Boahene completed theprocess for obtaining US licensure. Thisincluded an additional 3 years of dental training at New York University's School of Dentistry where she was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society in recognition of excellence in scholarship and character.
Dr. Owusu-Boahene returned to Maryland and joined the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry as a part-time faculty member where she continued her lifelong interest in providingcare to the Special Needs Community. She then founded RB Dentalwith the goal of partnering cutting edge technology withcompassionate patient care. She brings her unique experience and training in New Zealand, UK and USA to her work.
