As a proud graduate of University of Southern California Dental School I am passionate about the art and science of dentistry and thoroughly enjoy creating healthy, beautiful smiles for all of my patients. Whether it is just a simple filling, crown, whitening, procedure or something more complex like implants, veneers, or Clear Correct orthodontics, as your Chesapeake dentist, my well-trained and very friendly staff and I will take pride in giving you the best care possible.
When not working, my hobbies include continuing education, there is always something interesting and exciting to learn about in my profession and that translates into better, more up-to-date care for you as my patient.
Another hobby I am passionate about is fitness. I love the challenge of a good workout. Surfing is also a big passion of mine, when the conditions are right I cant think of a better way to enjoy myself than being in the water surfing with one or both of my brothers or some friends.
Dr. Christopher Gregoire grew up in Scarborough, Maine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he graduated near the top of his class. As a third-year dental student, he was selected for the Diamond Scholar Program, which placed the six highest-achieving fourth-year students in the postdoctoral clinic, where they provided more complex dental treatment and significantly more than a typical fourth-year dental student.
Upon graduation, Dr. Gregoire was recognized by the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry for high proficiency in clinical care and pain management. Dr. Gregoire then completed a postdoctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, VA. There he pursued advanced training in implant dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and prosthodontics. Dr. Gregoire served four years as a dentist in the United States Navy.
As an active member of the dental community, Dr. Gregoire maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of LDS Dentists. He continually strives to provide the highest quality of care in a friendly and comfortable environment while empowering patients to make the best decisions regarding their oral health.
While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Gregoire enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and two dogs. He is an avid baseball fan (Go Red Sox!). In his free time, he enjoys golfing, woodworking, travelling, playing multiple musical instruments and serving in the community.

I, like many people, dread going to the dentist because I don't have " great" teeth! I was considering having all my teeth pulled and getting dentures, until my wife and the staff at RB Comprehensive Dentistry convinced me otherwise. Shelia, Treatment Coordinator at RBCD, set up an appt. with Dr. Boylan and helped us develop a plan to address my concerns. Dr. Boylan began the first phase of my treatment today which included three extractions and two implants. Thanks to the expertise and professionalism of Dr. Boylan, dental assistants Grace and Meredith, and the entire staff at RBCD, I am encouraged about the next phase of my treatment. I broke my tooth while visiting from out of town. They gave me an appointment right away. I was able to get a crown on the same day that I went in. This is an incredible office. I had my crown made by a 3-D printer. It fit perfectly. Teresa was the dental assistant and she was very good. Dr. Patel with the dentist and he was really patient. I was unable to get numb after the first few injections so he patiently waited until I felt no pain. If I lived in town this would be my permanent dentist.

Today I spoke to Sheila at the front desk at the Virginia beach office. She is so compassionate, kind-hearted and understanding. She is so perfect to work the front desk, she is on the front line of the office and I am so impressed by her Excellent Customer Service. I have been going through a challenging time and she was so compassionate it almost moved me to tears. That made my day just to have her encouragement and supportive words. She is Absolutely Amazing! Thank you!

After 25 years in the Navy, and seeing a different dentist each time I had a check-up or a procedure, I luckily found an absolutely great dentist with Dr Harvey Glick. His professionalism, friendliness and superb comforting care were his trademarks. When his health started failing, he sold his practice. I thought I'd never find a match to his care. With complete respect to Dr Glick, Dr Boylan proved me wrong. Besides a state-of-the-art approach to dentistry, Dr Boylan and all his staff make every office visit a most positive experience. They always make you feel like you are their #1 patient. Lightning has struck twice for me.

Dr. Bittner was wonderful but he retired and sold his practice this year. Unfortunately with Dr. Boylan as the new owner, this place is just not the same. None of the original girls at the front desk or the hygienists work there anymore. Before everyone would know your name when you walked in and everyone was so friendly. Now, it seems like they have a constant rotating staff and no one seems to know what is going on. I have had multiple appointments canceled or rescheduled with the new owners over the last few months. Also, they rarely answer their phones anymore. My last visit I had for a cleaning I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes and no one was at the front desk and the phones were ringing off the hook. The hygienist came out to get me and after my cleaning she wanted me to sign a form saying that I had agreed to the cleaning without a doctor in the building..... if something had happened there would have been no dentist there to fix it! Had I known this before I showed up for a cleaning I would have left. It appears that the new owner only wants to minimally staff his practice to keep costs down but this is at the expense of the staff who seem to constantly turn over and the patients who are leaving in droves. I will be finding a new dentist in the new year which is a shame considering I was a loyal patient of Dr. Bittner for the last 5 years.

The laser Dr. Boylan used allowed him to not numb me up prior to surgery. It also shortened the amount time I was in the chair. Great experience! Bravo Zulu!!!

I am very pleased with my experiences at RB Comprehensive Dentistry. The staff is very friendly, as is Dr. Boylan. He is professional and great at what he does. During my second visit, Dr. Boylan fixed a cavity done by another dentist previously, and it was easy, fast and painless. Just yesterday, he placed an implant, of which I was very nervous about prior to because, obviously, the thought of a post being drilled into my jaw wasn't very appealing. HOWEVER, he talked me through everything prior to and during the procedure. He and his assistant Grace kept me comfortable the entire time to assure I felt nothing. During the procedure he took his time and Grace took multiple images to assure proper placement, and to also be sure they stayed far enough away from the nerve, which I appreciated. I am one day post-op and I have zero pain. The area is a little sore to the touch, as expected, but I am not experiencing any pain or aches whatsoever. I go back in 2 weeks to have my stitches removed and then in about 7 months, I go back to have the implant (tooth) placed on the post, which is not anything I'm worried about. The part that gave me anxiety is already over and I am more than pleased with how smooth everything went. I would recommend this practice to anyone/everyone in Hampton Roads area- specifically those who live in or near Virginia Beach and/or Chesapeake where both his offices are located. Special shoutout to this team! They are great.

Started going here in March of 2019. I received a bill today March 2020 for a mistake they apparently made. I have been there 4 other times between the one year period and nothing was ever brought to my attention about owing any money as I paid in full each appointment. The bill I received had an amount with no date of the procedure and no description of what was done. I called to discuss and they informed me it was a mistake on their end from my first visit in March of 2019 and that it needs to be paid. If not paid it goes to collections in April. Notifying a patient For the first time a year later then telling them it goes to collections in a month is unacceptable.

Haven't been to a dentist in years. Got an abscess and got an appointment the day I called. Came back later and had the tooth removed. No pain and everyone mad me feel very comfortable.

Great dentist office. Had an emergency and they saw me the same day. I had to come back the next week to get a root canal and crown and Dr. Boylan was awesome. Very reassuring when I was nervous at first. Didn't feel any pain at all during the whole procedure. The assistant was great at her job too and very pleasant. Everyone I dealt with was so nice, top notch dental office.
