With over 20 years of dental experience in private practice, I have experience in digital radiographs, dental Biolase lasers and CAD/CAM technology. It has been truly exciting for me to treat patients over the years with the latest advancements in dental treatment.
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minor in Chemistry, and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Also, I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Society and Northern Virginia Dental Society. Currently, with the Northern Virginia Dental Society I serve on the Executive Board Committee as a delegate and program chair. As a program chair I lead the continuing education lectures for our society.
I enjoy spending as much time possible with my wife, Lisa and our two children, Jack and Ellie. We actively participate in our community swim team, golfing, skiing and camping. I have grown up in the metropolitan area of D.C., Maryland and Virginia over the past 50 years and I am excited to be working where I grew up.

I've been going here about 17 years and have referred friends as well. This is a top notch practice. Dr. Favis is an amazing dentist. Susan is a fantastic hygienist. The rest of the staff---super excellent! Everything is modern and clean. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Dr. Favis continues to be honest and caring about the well-being of his patients dental health. I pray that he will stay in business until he retire at a ripe old age. Today I had a cleaning at Dr Favis Office. I can't remember the new hygienist but she was Wonderful!!! Always good to see Raymund and thank you to the office staff for finding me a slot on such short notice. I live 3 hrs each way but do not want to change Dentist. Highly recommend.

The only dentist I love coming to! Everyone in that office is so friendly and kind from the front all the way to the back. I've been coming to Dr favis for over 20 years. He's never steered me wrong nor has his staff! I've tried other dentists, but no other compares. This office is so worth going to, I make the 20 mile Trek when I need to.
