Dr. Raymond van Gennip is an experienced periodontist who uses todays most effective technology and therapies to achieve optimal gum health. What he does goes far beyond scaling and root planing (there are more ways to promote healthy gums than you think). His broad educational background in medicine and dentistry gives him a unique perspective on periodontal care and a strong focus on promoting gum health instead of just treating gum disease.
Dr. van Gennip is a faculty member at Dental Seminars, LLC teaching advanced surgical techniques in both periodontics and implant dentistry. He is also a fellow and diplomate of the International Congress for Oral Implantologists, as well as a fellow of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

I cannot recommend Dr Van Gennip and his staff highly enough. I've had two tooth extractions many years apart and they've both gone smoothly with minimal discomfort. Everyone is friendly, professional and very supportive.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. RAYMOND VAN GENNIP AND STAFF! I have seen Dr. van Gennip multiple times for a gum graft surgery and post-care. I continue to see him for follow up visits. The procedure was a success, my recovery is going well. I am always impressed by the comprehensive and assured care I receive at every appointment. From my first visit, Dr. van Gennip has been very knowledgable and thorough with my care and treatment. He explained the whole process step by step in ways that I could understand, answered all of my questions in detail, and was even patient when I asked questions two or three times, which is great because sometimes I think I just need the reassurance. The staff are all capable, friendly, and also patiently answer all my questions. The whole office seems to be very efficiently run. I rarely have to wait long for appointments, which is wonderful. And if I do have to wait the staff makes sure to check in with me so I don't feel like I've been forgotten about, which is important to me. Being completely unfamiliar with the procedure, I was nervous and skeptical if it would even work. But Dr. van Gennip's encouragment and upbeat attitude helped lessen the worry and increase my confidence, in turn helping me be more vigilant with my aftercare instructions and recover better. During my initial procedure I failed to speak up about some pain I was feeling, not knowing I wasn't supposed to feel anything. When I did mention it to the dentist, he immediately explained what happened and assured me that this would be addressed. For the next procedure, the staff took measures to ensure that I didn't feel any pain or discomfort and, as intended, I didn't feel a thing. Thank you again Dr. van Gennip and staff for an excellent experience!

Dr. Van Gennip and his staff are phenomenal. Everyone is friendly, courteous as well as professional. Dr. Van Gennip provided the least invasive procedure and although I was anxious at the start they put my mind at ease. I was referred to Dr. van Gennip by my dentist for a minor procedure and the results were fantastic. He showed me a video of what the procedure would entail as well as before/after photos from other patients (without any identifying or private information, of course) and this helped me feel more assured about the process. I saw Dr. Van Gennip in January for a tooth extraction and dental implant. I have had teeth pulled before and the recovery was never this quick or painless. Over the course of several months as my mouth was prepped for the implant, I received very thoughtful care from the staff as well as Dr. van Gennip. I especially appreciate the fact that I never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen for my appointments! I definitely recommend their services.

Dr. van Gennip and his staff did a phenomenal job in caring for my peridontal needs. Mel, the 'Master Administrator' was pleasant, professional and accommodating to provide me with a quick appointment, as my situation was urgent. I have been a patient of Dr vanGennip for over 10+ years. My periodontal issues were resolved, and I keep my maintenance appts to make sure my gums stay healthy. His entire staff is top notch. What I really want to briefly detail is my recent implant journey started early 2020. The permanent bridge I had for 15+ years upper right quadrant, literally fell out of my mouth. Researching options, I decided implants were the way I wanted to go. Based on my positive previous experiences, I had no hesitation in choosing Dr. vanGennip. I had my initial implant consultation, Dr vanGennip explained the procedures in a way that made it easy for me to understand. Two appointments were scheduled for extractions and abutments, the screws that provide the platform for artificial teeth. Procedures were performed while I was under 'conscious sedation', not a bad experience at all. From there follow up appts consisted of checking stabilization of screws, how I was healing and how I was doing overall. I did not have any problems, in other words, healing was uneventful. Dr vanGennip determined the abutments were stable and I was given the okay to return to my dentist for my prosthesis. The entire process took almost a year and I am incredibly pleased with the results. Thank you Dr vanGennip... I cannot stop smiling.
