Being a dentist is about helping people. Dental health affects the body and the mind. By improving the health of the mouth, a persons overall wellbeing is also improved. And by assisting a person achieve their best smile, Im helping them become more confident and comfortable with their appearance.

I truly love dentistry. No other profession allows the practitioner to have a profound impact on anothers life, while building lasting relationships. My conversations with patients and their families, our shared stories and laughter, and what I learn from each person, are fulfilling. I treasure the friendships Ive made in the 20 years Ive been practicing and cannot imagine another career. I love what I do and look forward to coming to the office in the morning.

A commitment to continuing education and lifelong learning is part of being a dentist. By taking courses, I ensure Im current on new techniques, materials, and technology. My patients benefit because they have access to the best care. Im able to deliver the most comfortable treatment and incredible results for their smile.

Im an active member of the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. I attend the organizations lectures, conferences, and seminars and pour over their journals and other publications.

I share my home with my husband, two sons, and our family dog. Outside of work, youll most often find me spending time with my family. I love cooking and trying new recipes, and also enjoy staying in shape by working out six days a week.

I am honored when patients place their oral health in my hands. I take this responsibility very seriously and treat each patient with the honesty and respect I would want for myself or a member of my family.

I am an active member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. These memberships give me access to the latest research, discussions of treatments, and different approaches to care.

I volunteer with the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. I believe everyone deserves access to dental healthcare, no matter their personal situation. It is my responsibility, as a dentist, to share my skills in order to achieve this.

I really enjoy the relationships Ive formed with our patients; Ive known some of them for more than 30 years! They are like my own family and I love caring for multiple generations, sharing in their life and stories. I take X-rays and clean a patients teeth, among other clinical tasks. My focus is always on helping patients develop the best oral health. I teach each patient how to make healthy decisions and improve their home care.

Ive lived in northern Virginia for most of my life. My husband and Jay and I have been married for more than 35 years. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. I love to cook, watch old movies, and am active with my church.

I love how our practice is family oriented. We laugh and cry with our patients and watch their families grow and change. I enjoy working with patients whove become my friends and look forward to becoming friends with our new patients, too. I take X-rays, assess a persons oral health, and clean their teeth. While Im caring for a patient, we talk about their dental health and how they can improve their home care.

I live in Chantilly with my husband of more than 30 years, Mark. My older son, Danny, graduated from WVU and works for Stanley Martin Home Builder. My younger son, Brian, graduated from IUP and works at the Northwest Federal Credit Union. Mark and I enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking, and biking.

I love the relationships that have grown over the years with my patients. Each of them is important to me and I want to help them succeed in taking control of the oral health. During their visits, while I clean their teeth, take X-rays, and administer local anesthesia, I talk with my patient about their mouth. I explain their specific issues and teach them the best ways to keep their mouth clean and healthy, and their smile looking incredible.

When Im not working, I enjoy time with my husband and son. We like playing outside, gardening, and vacationing. Were originally from Michigan and enjoy going back there twice a year. I also volunteer at my sons school and at church.
