Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed at this office and the staff was AMAZING! I was very nervous, but the assistants were very patient and the doctor made it a quick and easy process. Highly recommend !!

This place is amazing! The entire Staff is very friendly and want to help in every possible way. Office manager went ahead and waived my fees after spending 40 minutes of their time and resources. Being a cash paying customer that was so much appreciated. Thank you!! I look forward to bringing my business to you in the near future. The nurse that worked with me was incredible!

I want to edit my review based on the customer service and care I received from Dr. Ackah. Dr. Alexander-Varghese informed Dr. Ackah of my review and he immediately called me to discuss my recent experience. He was not aware I didn't receive the post op instructions I should have. Discussing the issue With Dr. Ackah made me realize how dedicated he is to his profession. He puts his cell number on the post op instructions and wants to be contacted if his patients have any difficulties or questions after a procedure. His call to me was not just a response to a less than stellar review, it was a genuine concern for his patient, and the pride he takes in providing excellent medical care. It would be very remiss of me not to mention the excellent care I receive from the other doctors and staff at Rayford Modern Dentistry. Rayford Modern Dentistry is a great place and has always treated me very special. Dr. Ackah did a very good job of deadening my mouth where he performed the procedure. He was very efficient although sort of rough, but sensitive to my needs. When he was through, NEITHER HE NOR HIS ASSISTANT GAVE ME ANY VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS WHAT TO DO AFTER THE SURGERY. I was handed a sheet of paper with general instructions. One of the instructions said "if I had a gum graft I should ice my jaw." I have no idea if he did a gum graft or not. No one told me there had been had prescriptions at the pharmacy. I was not verbally told to take antibiotic, consequently I was 3 days late when I started taking it. This is not my first time to have something like this done, so maybe I should have asked. However, there is a lot of trauma that goes with this procedure, which made me want to go home and rest. I'm not angry at anyone, but I think the doctor or his assistant should review what I or any patient should after a procedure such as this. Michael A McDonald 09/01/1946

The office was amazing. I unfortunately had three teeth removed but the office made the process very easy. I felt they could have been a little more sensitive to my financial situation but it is a business at the end of the day. IDK what my long term goals are I was not scheduled for a follow up don't even know what to do from here so that even would have been helpful. Everyone was so friendly and have already recommended the office to three people.

This is a fantastic, modernized dental office. The staff here are super friendly and professional. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sun and hygienist Tokeshia - both very gentle and reassuring all along the way. I'm sure every other dentist and hygienist here are just as great. Highly recommended.

This is the best dentist experience that I have had. Dr. Sun was really professional and took her time with me, the billing specialist who talks over financial/insurance info was very helpful and thorough. I'm glad to have found this location for dental care. Highly recommend and the office staff is 10/10 :)

My first and last time. 800$ worth of X-rays and no service done! The dentist was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. I have a health condition and Burst out saying among the whole office. The front desk took forever to give me a print out of services I need but with nothing done and they rack up $800 clearly they all about taking advantage of insurance and being rude.

They've declined over the years. They used to be awesome. Billing issues, way too busy, high worker overturn,, long wait for appointments, and long wait at the lobby even with an appointment are among the reasons we're going somewhere else.

The dentist and hygienists are great. I am still waiting on a call back after I was told they need to consult with my dentist. Thank God it is not life threatening otherwise I would have been dead and body will be 4 days old! Maybe they are too busy and don't want their current patients anymore.

I really love this office. All of the staff goes out of their way to help and they are so efficient. Dr. L. Vishwanat is the best. She is professional, knowledgeable, caring and is someone I trust completely. I have been going here for several years now and am so glad I found this office. I would recommend this office completely.
