Dr. Washington Ray, Jr. served as an US Air Force dentist for many years before deciding to return to his home State of South Carolina along with his wife and three young sons. His eldest son, Arian Ray, followed in his father's footsteps and became a dentist. After his tour in the US Army as a combat dentist, Dr. Arian Ray joined his father's practice. Within two years the practice outgrew its facility and Dr. Arian Ray decided to expand the practice under his ownership to its current location where Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry opened the doors to its state-of-the art facility in 2009. Focusing on the patient's comfort and ease along with incorporating the latest in technology, Dr. Arian Ray wanted to change the face of dentistry by not only making it a technological marvel, but also a pleasurable experience. Dr. Washington Ray, Jr. retired in 2015.

I found this facility to be quite excellent. It was immaculate, modern equipment, personnel were friendly and helpful. My tooth extraction was painless, my dentist was compassionate and thorough, offering mindful approaches to accomplish my goals.

I love this place. I had fillings done today, they always make sure that you are comfortable and doing ok. My back started to cramp up and they had somthing to go behind my back and it helped so much. The service is the best of the best. I defently recommend this place to anyone.

This place was awesome! My son had two teeth pulled today! They were quick, efficient, and very concerned with him about being comfortable! He's 9 and to say teeth pulling was easy is a big thing for kid! He said it went great!

I walked in and explained what I needed done and the time constraint I was under. They immediately got me in for my cleaning and two days later for pulling a tooth. I was very satisfied with their quick service.

First off, the VA referred me to this Dentist so I had no idea they existed before hand. Regretfully, I abhor going to the dentist, but this was a different experience for me. However, this is the first time in my 60 years that I can actually say that I enjoyed my visit to this team of Dentistry. Ms. Tashia Rubin and Dr Ronnetta Sartor were wonderful. They took the time to explain me the procedures that were about to take place and they reviewed my x-rays with me...taking time to explain the issues that my teeth presented. After having dealt with Air Force dentists for 26-years and VA dentists for 10 years...I have never met such a caring team of professionals. I believe this profession to be a thankless job at times because of people like me who dislike going to the dentist, but I want to say thank you to these women...I deeply appreciate their empathy, concern and care. I highly recommend this dental team and I assure you that you too, will appreciate this highly trained team of professionals!

I DO NOT RECCOMEND THE TREATMENT OF THIS FACILITY FOR THE CONSUMER PROTECTION please BE ALERT FOR THE SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF YOUR HEALTH....SEVERE NEGLIGENCE CAN RESULT IN DEATH!!!NO ANTIBIOTIC FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF EXTENSIVE SURGERY AND ABSTRACTION WAS ADMINISTERED TO MY ELDERLY MOTHER AND RESULTED IN NEAR LOSS OF HER LIFE AS WELL AS EMERGENCY SURGERY AND FOLLOW UP CARE WITH HER JAW, AIRWAYS, THROAT!!!!SHE ONLY WANTED A NEW SMILE She was admitted to the hospital through the EMERGENCY ROOM ON THE SAME DAY SHE LEFT RAYS FAMILY DENTISTRY AND RECEIVED ACUTE CRITICAL CARE AND TREATMENT FOR LUDWIGS ANGINA WITH FOLLOW UP CARE FOR HER HEART FROM THE AMOUNT OF INFECTION THAT CAUSED SEVERE STRAIN OF THE BLOOD AND HER HEART SHE WILL UNDERGO SURGERY AFTER TREATMENT WITH ANTIBIOTICS FOR THE INFECTION SHE HAD A FOUR DAY STAY IN THE HOSPITAL FOR A SMILE

My daughter Andrianna referred me to Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, after she had a warm & awesome experience. I visited & found the staff be attentive, friendly, gracious, humorous, very knowledgeable, mature, observant, but passionate in relating to me, and yet skillful in making sure I understand procedures, trustworthy in nurturing what I need, and wise in answering my questions. At the end I was able to meet with the doctor who also was calm, focused, very knowledgeable in supporting information I already received, was reassuring and exercised those same qualities as the staff. I am referring my husband, Mom & Dad along with family and friends seeking a dentist. Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, One that I can say, I am proud to refer someone else to go to.

Love the staff but they are a rip off. I was in pain after getting my wisdom tooth pull the entire weekend. Still to this day never have I ever received my prescription or a call back.
