Very good experience with a root canal , kind, caring, informative staff is wonderful . Paul Ortiz is fantastic, very kind and professional Endodontist, my first root canel in 40 years and I was very scared , however the reassurance and confidence from this entire team was outstanding. I am giving 5 stars based on my experience with the root canal that I had in Dr. R Ortiz's clinic. I went there for tooth pain and found out that I had an infection. Anyways, Dr Ortiz's male assistant is also nice and pleasant. Dr Ortiz not just a great doctor but also will listen and will explain thoroughly about the procedure and options for the patients choices. Dr. Ortiz gave me time to ask about questions that I needed to know and my concerns. In other words he is the kind of doctor that will listen to his patients and won't rush you. The ladies in the front office are so pleasant and so warm. It's like you're going in a place where you have a warm, friendly family and you will feel that you are in a safe place and safe hands of Dr. Ortiz. I highly recommend his expertise.

Dr Ortiz and is office are the best at what they do in Sarasota. Every single person is a caring, kind, professional. Dr Ortiz is a master of his craft and administers his skill with genuine caring. In this world of lackluster care Dr Ortiz stands way above the rushed world of medical services.

Dr Sierra is so profesional and caring. I went in for a root canal and I was so afraid of feeling pain but I had a great experience with dr Sierra and her staff. The are all lovely.

A very pleasant experience! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was comfortable throughout my entire procedure and would recommend Dr. Ortiz to my friends and family. No reason to fear dental work in this office, they will make sure you are well taken care of!

Dr Ortiz is a true professional. He takes great pride in his work and it shows in everything he does. I have had many root canals from several dentists in Sarasota and at the end of the day their work does not compare to the work of Dr Ortiz. He is head and shoulders above the competition. I feel fortunate that I found him and I would never get a root canal anywhere else.

This is my second root canal by dr. Ortiz. I cannot express enough the quality of care that you will received. He is very personable and cares about his patients comfort. He is honest and kind. I had zero pain or discomfort either time.

Root canal: Dr Sierra is sooo sweet, gentle, compassionate ( I'm scared and Whiney), explains well, funny, painfree!! and seems so far to be a fabulous dentist!! Her assistant, Juliette, was wonderful too!! So happy I found this place

Dr Sierra and Dr Ortiz are very kind , knowledgeable, and great specialists. The doctors and staff treated my mother like family and make her feel very comfortable throughout the entire appointment. They go above and beyond for their patients. I will be forever grateful!!!

5 Stars: Treatment was very well done and Raul is a very friendly guy. 0 Stars: What to be aware of: Early October I received a call from their office saying that there was a pending balance that the insurance did not cover. They said they sent me the statement, but we went over the info in the call and they had my old address, hence why I had not received anything. They corrected the address and sent me again. I got it a week later, and the balance was over $600. Which is a lot more than the quote they gave me, and I would not do it, or would have reached out to insurance first, before deciding. Now that I had the statement, I did contact insurance to try understand why that was a lot more, and if there was a mistake or something. My insurance is good and that much higher value was uncommon. A week and a half later I receive a call from a collector and I now had to pay $200 more. I understand how it works, and that it has been two months, but I wasn't aware until they called me and we corrected the address so I could get the statement, which I must say again, I only had it for a week and a half now. So, I did not think the extra fee was fair - I had just received the statement and have no problem paying it, I just needed to confirm with my insurance. I decided to call the office to figure things out and see if I could avoid the extra charge. Unfortunately, call with the office lady went south fast, she insisted they had my correct address from the get-go and became unfriendly fast. (I would got frustrated but fine with a polite "I'm sorry there is nothing we can do") I also asked to speak with Raul, or her supervisor, but they were busy and she told me to go there after working hours... I wonder why would she tell me to go when there is no one there... ( anyways everyone has bad days, right? So I guess that's ok. I don't have the sample size to judge, but the office people might and this review may help them be aware of my experience). So, between the lack of empathy in the call, insisting on something wasn't true, the misleading quote that lead me to do the treatment earlier (here I'm hoping its just an outlier, and they didn't do on purpose) I felt I had the responsibility to share my story with everyone here so you can carefully and proactively avoid issues like I had with them. That being said, I'm not even going to wait on email back from insurance explaining it, and have decided to pay without escalating it further, but am not going back there nor I would recommend it to anyone since not only its costing me more than 3x what I agreed after following their info, but also as my customer experience was very bad.

This office is fantastic! From the moment Millie sets up your appointment until your teeth are feeling good again you will be expertly and professionally cared for. Dr. Ortiz is very kind, and takes the necessary time to explain his findings and treatment plans thoroughly. He and his assistant make a great team. I originally came to this office 4 years ago after a botched root canal elsewhere by a dentist contracted with my insurance ( trying to save money) I will never again try to go cheap over quality. When I had tooth trouble a couple of days ago I knew just who to call. Go with the best!!!

Dr. Ortiz and his assistants and office staff are great. An upbeat environment makes the whole experience easier to cope with. My procedure was fast and efficient and appears to be well done. There is definitely a feeling that your comfort and overall wellbeing are considered and addressed. You are treated as a whole person and not just another tooth.

I've been having a problem with one of my top molars on and off for about 10 months. Having recently moved to Sarasota, I didn't have a dentist, or an endodontist. I was referred to Dr Ortiz from a friends dentist and scheduled an appointment. Dr Ortiz did all types of tests on the tooth and determined the problem. I was given several choices and decided to have a root canal on the tooth. I had the root canal yesterday and am happy to say that he did an amazing job. The pain and sensitivity are gone. The procedure was easy and painless. As a matter of fact, it was so painless I even dozed off in the chair a couple of times. Dr. Ortiz and his staff are organized, thorough and do an amazing job. I highly recommend them.
