Dr. Handa has been specially trained in the areas of Biorejuvenation Dentistry, Sleep and Airway Dentistry, and Myofunctional Therapy.
Since completing dental school in 1998, Dr. Handa has been a continuous learner attending some of the most prestigious higher education dental programs including the Pankey Institute, The Spear Institute, The Stewart Center, Vivos Education, and The Breathe Institute.
Dr. Handa has spent hundreds of hours training in state of the art dental technology. More recently, she also graduated as an integrative health coach from the International Integrative Nutrition (IIN) Academy.
Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Handa understood the perseverance, commitment, and passion it would take to be an exceptional dentist. Dr. Handa received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University Dental School in 1998.
She holds a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the ABMS Institute of Dental Sciences and completed her residency at the Safderjung Hospitals Department of Oral Surgery in India. She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), and The Indian Dental Association.
Dr. Handas strength is rooted in the combination of her skills as both an airway and a cosmetic dentist. She has a special understanding of the preservation of a healthy mouth, as well as the art and dynamics of a beautiful smile.
Dr. Handa leads workshops across the country teaching her Person Behind the Teeth philosophy. She teaches other dentists to connect with patients and view dentistry through the patients perspective. Her philosophy is to serve patients as people and not as a chart or x-ray. She considers herself more than a dental care provider, but also a partner in every patients overall well being.
I have worked in the dental field for more than 13 years and completed my hygiene degree in 1997. I have watched the field change and grow so much in that time. I recently trained in Oral Myofunctional Therapy and I am excited to add another component to how I can help patients achieve whole body health.
I grew up in Michigan and have lived in Massachusetts since 2010. I have three children that inspire me to do great things every day. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, hiking with my dog, spending time with my husband and children, and laughing with friends. I live in the moment and try not to waste any of them.
I entered dentistry because a friend suggested it to me as a good field to be in. But now that I have been a dental assistant for over 10 years, I cant imagine doing anything else because it is my passion.
I love working with people and helping others feel better. I have one daughter and I live in Boston. I like to read, travel the world, and focus on living a healthy lifestyle. Dentistry is not just an occupation but part of the whole-body journey.
I have been in dentistry for over eight years. I was inspired by an assignment in High School, to select the most satisfying career. I was intrigued with the idea of being a Dental Assistant and from that moment on I have fallen in love with such. It has become my portal in fulfilling my passion, in helping others.
Laugher is my joy, super energetic and being positive is who I am. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, exercising and dancing is my life balance passion. I enjoy spending time with my husband, two dogs and friends. Currently residing in Fitchburg, MA which I enjoy and love.

Airway Dentistry focuses on the health and function of the airway as it facilitates normal breathing. Sleep disorders, bite problems and upper airway restriction syndrome have been identified as underlying causes of many symptoms affecting the quality of life in both children and adults.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc).
If your dentist has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact that Dr. Handa provides many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure.
