Dr. Sindelar graduated with highest honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Sciences. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Sindelar is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Missouri Dental Association and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary dental society. Hes also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Dentistry and regularly participates in continuing education on sleep dentistry. Dr. Sindelar is also a member of the Spear Study Club, an international educational organization for restorative and cosmetic dentists.
Dr. Sindelar believes that strong relationships are fundamental to excellent patient care, and this includes relationships with specialists as well as patients themselves. He works with many of the top specialists in the area, and prides himself on bringing the right team of professionals together to deliver the best experience and results possible.
He strives to provide top-notch service in all aspects of dental care, taking a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Sindelar loves creating gorgeous smiles and helping patients look and feel their best.
Dr. Sindelar grew up in the Oakville area and currently resides in Sunset Hills with his wife, Janna, an elementary school teacher, and their children, Jackson, Addison, and Emily. He enjoys supporting local charities, community sports teams, and the Make A Wish Foundation. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Sindelar had a career of sorts in patient care. As a high school student, he dressed up as Percy the Mercy Bear to entertain children at St. Johns Hospital.

Dr Rathgeber is the best! I had previously been getting a tooth repeatedly repaired by a different dentist until I saw Dr Rathgeber. He repaired it once and it's still like new 10 years later. From cleaning, to replacing fillings, to repairing a tooth from an injury, to adjusting my bite, Dr Rathgeber has done it all so well. His entire office offers kind and compassionate care. I still drive from KAnsas City to see him! Highly recommend!

Dr. Dan Rathgeber has been my dentist for several years and is by far the best dentist that I have ever had. He and his staff are some of the most caring people that you will ever meet. I recently had a couple teeth worked on and Jamie assisted Dr. Dan and she was fabulous. Amazing people!!!

I've had a lot of unfortunate work done to my teeth over the years and have seen quite a few dentists. I've been with Dr. Dan Rathgeber for going on I believe 10+/- years. He and his staff are some of the best people I know and Dan "is" the best dentist I've ever been to. They are caring and treat you like family. Dr. Rathgeber has been my dentist for 40 years. He has always been professional, gentle, and caring. In a dental emergency he is the guy you want to see. When my children, then ages 3 and 5 years old, came out of their first office visit with Dr. Dan, the first words out of their mouths were "When can we come back?"

Love Oakville Dental Care. Been going to Dr. Dan for many years, and just recently with Dr. Guilfoy, and have exceptional care and treatment there. Dental assistants are great too, shout out to Jamie for great care and understanding especially in this year 2020. I highly recommend .
