I haven't been to the dentist in a while due to traumatic experience but I was referred to this place by a dear friend! There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about Silo Square Dental! My hygienist Molly made me feel welcomed and very comfortable! I absolutely loved my visit!

I and my family have been to Dr. Rather's office multiple times. Each time has been as wonderful as a dentist's office can be. The staff are wonderful people and never have I been caused any pain ( Hurt me and I won't be back is my motto ). I was referred to him and have referred dozens as a result. Seems like appointment times are far out, but you should expect that with work they do. Wonderful people!

Got my first appointment and was treated with absolute care. The crew are very professional and my hygienist Mollie is the best. You won't be treated as a customer and you'll feel that ur a part of their family.

Asian, almost 30. Went there for my bi annual cleaning as a new resident I got referred here. I made sure my insurance was accepted before coming in as well since I have new insurance from a company I'm working for. I miss my old dentist in Charleston, sc as I've had him since I was 12. But with the referral I got, I was a little worried due to my demographic and uncertainty of the new area. Susan, my dental hygienist, was amazing and very charming. She cleaned my teeth really well and I didn't want to eat afterwards lol. After being cleaned, the doctor came and introduced himself to me. Funny guy and approachable. I've voiced my concerns to him and my next step in my dental journey, which is putting teeth in my gaps. I'm glad he said it's achievable and can't wait for it to happen.

After a horrible experience when I first moved to MS 8 years ago, I was on the hunt for an EXCELLENT dentist. I did my research, stumbled on Dr Rather's office, and have never looked back! The entire office atmosphere is so comforting and service is top notch. I can't tell you how many people I have referred to him. Keep up the great work!

The staff are always, nice, cheerful, and helpful. I've never experienced anyone with a bad attitude. Very positive environment. I've been to many dentists that have very unprofessional staff. But Dr. Rathers and his staff are the best.

The most friendly staff ever! Customer service is a priority along with great service. My grandson is autistic, and he receives his care without a squirm or wiggle. He loves it!

The staff is so sweet and Dr.Rather is so nice and has a great chair side manner! I was able to get my crown the same day and it's beautiful, so happy to have my smile back!

I just had my first appointment with Silo Square Dental yesterday afternoon and WOW what a great experience! I went in for a routine cleaning. Everything is very clean and orderly, and everyone is so kind and accommodating. I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment due to a previous patient needing to take longer than expected (as can be expected in any dentist's office), but since I had taken the afternoon off from work anyway it was not a big issue. PLUS, the excellent, top notch services I received made up for the wait! Molly was the hygienist that cleaned my teeth and she was AMAZING! I have chronic TMJ issues, therefore making it difficult for me to keep my mouth open too long, but she was so comforting and accommodating through the entire cleaning, and ensured I was comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Rather checked my teeth after the cleaning and he was as equally warm and kind, and very thorough! Thank you Silo Square Dental, see you in 6 months for my next cleaning! :)

I called weeks prior for my appointment. I asked if they took my insurance and gave them my info. Arrived early at my appointment and waited 45 minutes to be told that they don't take my insurance. Afterwards, the lady told me that it wasn't all het fault I should have checked it myself! I left and went back for an excuse and asked for the manager, the rude lady, stated it's Dr. Rather's wife and she's not in. I didn't ask for the relationship to the doctor, but the name, and the response in my opinion was an attempt to intimidate me. I told her that it was unprofessional for her to tell me that I should have checked with my insurance not just them. She became rude with me, Mrs. Powell refused to give my excuse in my hand but left it on the table and wouldn't pick it up. The dental assistant, who came from the back, picked it up and gave it to me. I WAS THE ONLY BLACK PERSON/ WOMAN THERE AND ALL EYES WERE ON ME. I FELT I WAS BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND MY SERVICES DID NOT MATTER! I feel for those who are less knowledgeable because they probably would be treated worse. We must do better with serving our community and the customer service is who set the tone. There was a bad reflection given to me.

There are plenty of great dentists to choose from in our area, but everyone should find a dentist in which you and your family are comfortable. If you haven't found that dental group, come see Dr Rather and his team. The friendliness and professionalism start as you walk in the door, continues with their excellent hygienists who work hard to get those teeth clean, and ends when you see Dr Rather with his many years of experience. For 17 years, our family has been coming to his office. Even as our kids were toddlers, we never had to use a pediatric dental group. One visit and you'll not have to worry about your dentist again. Plus, they've now relocated to a beautiful new office at Silo Square.

We had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was friendly and made us feel like family. The facilities are brand new and located in beautiful Silo Square development.
