It is my sincere belief that I was born to be an orthodontist. I love the challenge, the science, and most of all, the people. I want to be able to provide the best clinical care, cutting no corners, at an affordable price that will benefit patients biologically and emotionally for a lifetime. I take great joy in providing someone else with the best care possible with sincere and friendly interaction.
I consider myself a student of life; I love the science and the detail of orthodontics. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, I scored in the top one percent of all dental students on national board exams. I then spent an additional three years specializing in orthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Masters program.
I am originally from Greensburg, PA, and have lived in Gettysburg for the past 13 years. My wife, Katherine, and I have one daughter, Lauren, and twin sons, Anderson and August. I love every second I get to spend with my family, and consider them to be the greatest blessings in my life. I also enjoy outdoor activities and being active in the community through St. Francis Parish.
At our orthodontic practice, we work hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward our needs. We understand the expectations of the patients and families we serve, and we do everything we can to make sure that each patient has an exceptional experience at our practice.

We have been coming here for a year now and I can't say enough how wonderful the staff is here including Dr. Rarrick. Always smiling and welcoming. No cost surprises , everything is explained where you understand on what your paying for or child having done. Very clean office. My younger son is getting braces next and won't go anywhere else! :) Very Pleased!!!!!

Dr. Rarrick's office is always a very well oiled machine with extreme efficiency with moving patients in and out of the office after their appointments!

Dr. Rarrick and his staff are amazing. Pat is so sweet and kind and is a wonderful face to see when we cone in. Dr. Rarrick really takes the time to answer all questions and concerns and puts you at ease. Highly recommend to anyone.

More than orthodontic care! My son was born with a cleft lip and palate and Dr. Rarrick has been along side us, guiding us through his treatment, since he was 7 years old. The entire staff has cared for us and treated us like family from the day we walked in the door. You can tell everyone in the office loves their job (special shout out to Pat at the front desk - she's awesome!)! Now in high school and nearly finished with his orthodontic treatment, my son is confident and his smile is beautiful!!

From the comfy chairs in the cozy little waiting room to the friendly staff, this office makes every patient feel welcome. I also like that this office has not moved to the model where there are video games and tablets for the kids to use. In other offices, I've witnessed that that design model adds a whole other element of stress to staff regarding maintenance and peeling the kids away from a game they want to finish. Dr. Rarrick evidently values human interaction and relationships, because he not only knows all of his patients by their names, but he can recall their interests and personalities in conversation. His positive attitude trickles down to his staff. It is nice to see neighbors and classmates conversing in the waiting room. The only thing I could think to make the experience even better would be a small fridge with water or a keurig machine for those waiting.

My 8-year-old has been seeing Dr. Rarrick for about a year now and we have been very happy with his treatment. My son actually loves going to see him to get his expander turned and was disappointed when it recently came out as he won't be visiting as often. We are very happy patients.
