In 1984, I received my doctoral degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry and a post-doctoral residency at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York followed. I moved to Carlsbad in 1994, fell in love with the community and knew this is where I wanted to practice and raise my family. I have received a 'Top Dentists award every year, this award is given by my dental peers and I am very grateful and honored. I have truly enjoyed serving my patients in the Carlsbad Community for over the past two decades and I am proud to say that many of my patients have been with me the entire duration. I enjoy the bond I have developed with them and consider many of them my friends hence Im accused of being a Chatty Kathy on occasion. My goal is to make all my patients feel safe and relaxed and to know I have their best interest at heart. I am a perfectionist and will always make sure that the quality of care at my office is superb!
I enjoy golf, and hiking on the weekends with friends and family. I have two adult daughters, Brielle and Kallin, we have such a fun time when we do get to spend time together. I love traveling and sharing my adventures with my patients. Over the past few years, I have been to the Galapagos Islands, Kenya, Tahiti, and the Amalfi Coast and am looking forward to traveling to Greece, Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, and Australia in the not-so-distant future. I am a big music lover (go to many concerts), I love the arts, I am a huge DUKE fan and I love to eat, but who doesnt? Excellent job by hygienist and always professional and friendly services by all of the staff and Dr. Rappaport. My family has gone here for more than 15 years and have always had great experiences.

Although I had a new dental hygienist, I was very comfortable. Goldie is very thoughtful and working thoroughly. Hopefully, I will see her for the next checkup.

Dr. Rappaport has a great bedside manner and his staff is nice. However, they wanted to charge me $4k in dental work and I stopped at that point and got a second opinion. I have a new dentist in Carlsbad and they told me I didn't need any major work. I paid for my cleaning and my teeth were fine. I do need a night guard which is $150 at the new dentist's office. but Dr. Rappaport's office wanted to charge me $600.

So grateful that I can say I have THE best dentist Carlsbad has to offer. He even has his own parking lot! He is kind and has a "great dental chair" manner. He's not out to "get you" with dental procedures. He's honest and I trust him. His staff is just as nice as he is! Ohhh. You can eat off the floor in this office... so clean!

It is always a good experience visiting Dr. Rappaport's dental office in Carlsbad, CA, as it has been over the last 23+ years. On 03/24/2022, I had a dental cleaning at Dr. Rappaport's office. The dental hygienists there, Molly and Sam, are absolutely delightful, efficient, and kind. Robin, at the front desk is like a long-time friend. Dr. Rappaport, of course, is the very best dentist I've seen in my 84 years. I am looking forward to visiting all of you again in about six months. Thank you! Denny

The entire experience from start to finish was superb. I was a new patient check-in from a referral, needed x-rays, some fillings and deep cleaning; I was recevied properly via Covid protocols, extremely gracious, courteous and professional from EVERYONE. I highly recommend Paul and his professional staff, by far one the BEST dental practices in all of North County San Diego.

I highly recommend this doctor and his fantastic staff. They are prompt, kind and listen. Dr. Rappaport always has a gently touch and cares about how you are doing in the chair. The hygienists are all professional, do a great job and give great instructions on what you can do to improve your teeth at home. Look no further. Office staff is friendly and always has a smile waiting for you.They are worth it!
