Dr. Matthew H. Caspersen was born in Berkeley, California. With his father in the Marine Corps, he spent time in Arizona, Virginia, and England before settling down in Minnesota. Dr. Caspersen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and followed in his fathers footsteps by joining the Marines.
After completing his service in the military, Dr. Caspersen took a great interest in orthodontics. He decided to make a career change and attended the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He received a Masters in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa.

Staff was all very nice and helpful, especially Beth. She explained everything, and my 7 year old actually said she had fun! The office is updated and very clean/nice. They seem to stay on top of all the latest technology which created a very seamless and efficient patient experience.

We are often early to appointments and rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Appointments are quick, but thorough.

Not really pleased with the final result months later. Everything looked good during treatment, I guess its a retention issue. Doctor is very nice, but I was told there was nothing else they could do. Price was good but not when I may need treatment again elsewhere.

Love, love, love. Dr. Casperson is very intelligent and has a great sense of humor as well. We also got a mouth guard for sports from him. We noticed changes in like the first month of treatment. Its amazing how it all works. I needed a battery jump one time and his staff went above and beyond to assist. Very affordable and a double bonus Doc gave us a military discount.

Don't even know where to start!! Beautiful and welcoming office space! Exemplary Customer Service. Friendly helpful staff... to BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. Appt at 0930, showed up 40 min early for consultation. Took us early got her braces on SAME DAY. Out the door by 1100. The efficiency of this practice is the prototype. The owner/ manager should run the country. I could keep going on an on but we left excited to return...

I was really impressed with everyone in the office. Coming in as an adult having to get braces is a little nerve racking and can be embarrassing. Everyone made me feel comfortable and gave me the best option for treatment and I look forward to working with them.

Dr. Casperson is the best! Does an amazing job with my teeth and is very quick and precise! The front office workers are very kind and nice to talk to! I usually have no wait time and just go right in to my appointment.

Love the treatment there!! All of the hygienists are quick, efficient, friendly and professional. Love that we can walk in and then 20 minutes later we're walking out the door. It's like a well- oiled machine...this place. I especially love the hygienist from Michigan, forgive me I keep forgetting her name, but she's like a breath of fresh air...has a great smile and is always kind to my kids. Thank you !!

I will write a review everyday for this place. I initially thought of getting braces 3 years ago and visted this office. I didn't move forward at the time because I couldn't work the expense in my budget. So, I noticed my teeth were continuing to spread and I went back to Dr. C this year and be honored my price that was quoted initially. I am always seen on time and I may have been late once but they were so accommodating. The staff is simply the best group of ladies from the front office to the dental assistants and Dr Caspersen is a riot always professional and comedic. This is a well run office and the top Orthodontist handsdown.

We have just moved from overseas with braces on..Rappahannock Orthodontics has been excellent to accommodate us. Staff are very professional, curious and friendly. We were extremely impressed when they pleasantly went ahead with our first appointment despite the fact that I had called and informed that I had misplaced my wallet and will not be able to pay our very first payment that day. Honestly, I was prepared for rescheduling the appointment. Dr. Casperson was very kind and cooperative. Highly appreciated indeed Will keep updating our experience that is wonderful so far.
