This Laser system allows Dr. Rao to perform many different dental procedures with little to no administration of anesthetics.Dr. Raos practice philosophy is based on extreme excellence which she achieves by relying on the most modern technology to give her patients the most comprehensive dental care possible and most importantly by treating her patients with utmost respect and care. Dr. Rao enjoys working on all aspects of general dentistry and is known for her gentle touch and mannerism. She is interested in aprivate practice setting and loves to focus on comprehensive dental care for the entire family including children, where she can make sure that good oral hygiene habits do start young. Dr. Rao lives with her husband and two little girls in Ridgewood, NJ.
Dr. Eric Oh grew up in Southern California and completed his dental degree from the University of Southern California with honors. After graduating from USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Oh moved to New York to pursue his specialty in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the biggest ADA accredited program in the country, Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Oh served as the Chief Resident at Montefiore Medical Center, Beth Israel Hospital, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, and Jersey City Medical Center where he received extensive training in facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, orthognathic surgery, dentoalveolar and pre-prosthetic surgery, and bone-grafting and implant surgery.
Dr. Oh has extensive expertise in the treatment planning and surgical placement of dental implants, placing more than 1000 dental implants during his career. Dr. Oh is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, New York and New Jersey State Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Hande Demircan is a Registered Dental Hygienist, certified to Administer Local Anesthesia, who graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2017 with Honors and earned her second associates degree in dental hygiene. She has always had the desire to work with people and help them. Hande received her bachelors degree in family and child studies from Montclair State University in 2012 with Honors.

I am very happy that I found this office. Took my two kids here and it was such an awesome experience for them. I was always afraid that my kids will pick up on my fear of the dentist ( growing up I had so much problems with my teeth), but this dentist is the best in the area! Thank you guys! Kids still asking me when we ll go back !)

I can't thank enough the doctor, she managed to save my tooth. I was told by a different doctor that nothing can be done and thanks god that was not the case. Doctor offered me several options and after taking everything on consideration we proceed with crown, few week later everything feels awesome. Thank you guys! You are the best dentist in Ramsey!!!!

Dr Rao and staff are the worst dental office my family and I have been to. We went there 2019 2020. There very pushy to get work done and charge insurance, Everybody in office is horrible will never go back or recommend anybody to go there. Found a terrific Dr Pines in Mahwah. 110% better than Dr Rao office. Anybody looking for a great dentist go to Dr Pines in Mahwah. No stars for horrible people skills just horrible all around very disappointing all around with staff and Dr Rao. Never ever will go there. Will be going to Dr Pines great dentist.

I had a great experience at Rao's Family Dental. Dr. Rao and her staff are very knowledgeable and professional. The office was very clean and was very satisfied with the precautions taken during this pandemic. Dr.Rao and staff took time to explain all aspects of the procedure and I highly recommend Dr.Rao and her wonderful staff.

Usually nervous going to the dentist but the assistant Suzette &' Dr. Rao calmed my nerves and educated me on the whole process easing my cavity filling. Felt like more than a patient, will happily come back!

Dr Rao is the best dentist I have ever had. She takes every precaution ESPECIALLY during this pandemic. I feel super safe when I enter. I don't touch anything, they open the doors, give hand sanitizer after done with my appointment. I love a doctor that explains in detail and even has pictures and diagrams for frrences. The staff is super nice and inviting. I'd recommend adults and children to come here. The office maintains excellent precautions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Pros: Excellent hygienist, I think she probably did one of the best cleanings I have ever had. I went during Covid and the place was impecable. It had also some air filtration and it seems that the equipment was top notch. The lady at the front desk was also very attentive and responsive. Cons: I'm sorry to say that I was turned off by the dentist's bedside manners. She came after my cleaning and told me I had "a lot of problems" (her words). I was quite shocked by that statement. She said I had "two cavities", among other things. I asked if the cavities were big, and the answer was not. My gut told me to find someone new (more compassionate), so I made an appointment somewhere else to fix the cavities. The new dentist said I had NONE. What, no cavities??? I even asked if he was sure because I was told that I had cavities. The new dentist couldn't find any on my x-rays and said my mouth was perfectly fine.

Been having a number of issues with scheduling. First, they changed my appointment multiple times and it took me a few weeks to get an answer from them regarding the service I needed. Looking back on my previous appointment, they told me into getting a certain service done for over $100 out of pocket, just for an Endodontist to do the exact same thing. It's never easy at this place.

I've been overdue for a wisdom tooth extraction for the last year and was desperate to get it over with so a friend referred me to here and can I just say I absolutely love this office. It's so clean and well-run, the doctor was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns, and the receptionist was so helpful when explaining to me what types of insurance they accept and my deductible and whatnot. I wish I could give them more than five stars! Will definitely make this office my routine place!!!
