Dr. Ron was raised in the Morton area. He graduated from Morton High School in 1981. After graduation, he attended Bradley University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois in 1991. Dr. Ron is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Peoria District Dental Society and Morton Chamber of Commerce.

Dentistry is in my blood. I can honestly say I enjoy it more today than I did when I started practicing 28 years ago. There has been an explosion in technology that has made dentistry more rewarding, innovative and exciting. These changes all translate into better quality care and a more pleasant dental experience for our patients. With that in mind, I have remained committed to remaining on top of these changes through continuing dental education courses and introducing new technology into the practice.

I grew up in Chicago; in 1985, I graduated from Loyola University with a bachelors degree in biology. In 1989, I received my dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. I pursed a General Practice Residency from the then West Side VA Hospital in Chicago and completed the residency in 1990. I am a member of the ADA, ISDS, PDDS and CDS.

I met my husband, Ron, in dental school; we married in 1990. After practicing a few years in Chicago, we moved to Rons home town of Morton, Illinois. In 1992, we established Ranson and Ranson Family Dental, located in the heart of the Morton community. We have one daughter in college and two very sweet Goldendoodles. When not practicing dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and exploring my creative side in painting.

Ryleigh Ryleigh is a dental assistant and has been with our team for the past year. She underwent her training at the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy after graduating from Olympia High School. In her free time, she spends time with my friends and family.

Heather Heather is a registered dental hygienist, and she has been in the dental field for over 16 years. She started out as a dental assistant for 3 years. She then realized that she wanted to further her education by becoming a registered dental hygienist, which she has been since 2004. Heathers goal is to help her patients through patient education and to encourage others to maintain good periodontal health. Heather was born in Morton and still lives here with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and three dogs. Erinn R. Erinn R. is one of our registered dental hygienists and has been working in dentistry for over 20 years! Erinn graduated from the Illinois Central College dental hygiene program in 2014. She grew up in Morton and now lives here with her family. In her spare time, Erinn enjoys spending time with my family and friends. She also enjoys working out, running and raising money for St. Jude.

Lorinda Lorinda is a registered dental hygienist, and she has been with the Ranson dental team since 2003. She received her Dental Hygiene degree in 2001 and her Bachelor of Science in Health Arts degree in 2005. Lorinda takes pride in providing quality dental hygiene care to her patients. Outside of work, Lorinda enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her children, husband, and dog keep her very busy with may activities.

Erinn S. Erinn S. is one of our dental assistants and joined our team in June of 2021. She graduated in 2017 from Pekin Community High School then started at ICC in 2018 for her general education credits before finding MTI. She went to MTI in September of 2020 for dental assisting and completed her three-month externship in May of 2021, graduating shortly after and receiving her assisting certification. Erinn loves dentistry! She knew she wanted to work in the dental field since she was a young girl. There is something special for her in seeing a beautiful smile. In her free time, she enjoys being with her pup and family! She also loves the ocean and exploring new vacation spots.
