After studying under Dr. Peter Dawson and Dr. Mark Piper two leaders in the study of the TMJ Dr. Glen Goldstein has become one of the few dental practitioners in the Randolph area who can precisely diagnose and treat TMJ disorders. He has given many lectures on the topic and continues to work with a number of medical professionals which include Ear, Nose and Throat specialists, Neurologists, Chiropractors, and practitioners who specifically work within the area of pain management. Drs. Glen and Zachary Goldstein team up with these professionals in an effort to solve the complex health issues that accompany TMJ disorder. As a result, our patients ultimately experience the relief they had been in search of while knowing they can now live a happier, healthy pain-free existence.
Implant surgery and restoration (placement of the implant crown) are both performed at our Randolph dental office. This gives Drs. Glen and Zachary Goldstein full control over the results of all aspects of the procedure; from the planning stages right through to placement of the implant crown. In order to ensure the best results during implant surgery, Drs. Glen and Zachary Goldstein use a computer-guided technique in implant surgery that is considered cutting-edge when it comes to the most precise placement of dental implants. Simply put, advanced technology and CT scans give us a clear picture of precisely where the implant needs to be placed in order to avoid complications such as a damaged nerve. In some cases, a computer-guided procedure can make implants viable for patients who might not have been candidates otherwise, such as those with low bone volume or dental structure issues.
In addition to being an in-network provider for Delta Dental, Drs. Glen and Zachary Goldstein are happy to accept a wide number of dental insurance plans. Dr. Zachary is a network provider with Delta Dental PPO. Our team can help you figure out your benefits and will happily work with your insurance company to make sure that you make the most of your plan and get all the savings and benefits youre entitled to. We realize that not everyone has dental insurance, which is why were willing to help you explore other options for reducing the costs of dental care. After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree at Rutgers University with a major in microbiology, Dr. Goldstein pursued his Doctor of Medical Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he graduated in 1987. Since graduation, he has regularly worked hard to further upgrade his skills through thousands of hours of continuing education. This includes time spent at the world-renowned Dawson Academy and the Piper Education and Research Institute. He has also received a Fellowship and Diplomate status in the International Congress of Oral Implantology and lectures extensively on the subject of TMJ disorder, having served on the staff at Dental Studies Institute in Fairfield, NJ. His exceptional training allows him to treat complicated dental/TMJ problems that many other practitioners struggle to identify and remedy. He is additionally a member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr. Goldstein and his wife Donna have three children named Zachary, Gregory, and Rachael. When he has free time away from the treatment chair, you can often find him scuba diving (especially with sharks), flying planes, running, weightlifting, and doing yoga. He also enjoys karate and is even a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do!
While Dr. Zachary already knew plenty about dentistry from his dad, it wasnt until he started working for him during summer breaks that he saw the true mastery of craft and art that went into the profession. The satisfaction of providing a valuable, life-changing service to patients so directly felt unique to him, and the realization sparked a lifelong interest. He began joining his dad on mission trips to Knoxville, TN through Remote Area Medical, where they provided services to communities to need. He saw first-hand just how valuable and important their dental care was to the community at large, and the great appreciation patients had for the work drew him into the oral healthcare world for good. Hes never looked back!
Dr. Zachary completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland-College Park before pursuing his DMD at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While there, he graduated with honors as the salutatorian and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honor society. He was also extremely active in local clubs that were focused on implant surgery and cosmetic dentistry. He did all this while also completing additional courses related to the principles of occlusion/TMJ disorders, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and orthodontics. He has also begun his journey of studying at the Dawson Academy. Today, he is a member of the American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr. Zachary is the oldest of three siblings. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and getting outdoors whenever possible. Hes been a runner for several years, competing in half-marathons and even a full marathon. He also likes to fish its a relaxing hobby that also allows him to explore new areas. Hes started playing golf in his free time, and hes even a certified scuba diver.

After 25+ years with Dr.Goldstein, I am now a patient of Dr. Zack. He is great. I feel at ease with him and confident that I am getting that same Randolph Dental care that I have enjoyed for the past 29 years. --------- Sept. 13 2022 I wrote this review in 2013 I have had the good fortune of having Dr. Goldstein as my dentist since the early 90's. My teeth were in bad shape. We made a plan and did the work. I am happy to say that I finally had long overdue fillings replaced and crowns done. They are still rock solid after 20 years. Since then, I have regularly had cleanings, exams, and x-rays. We have done a filling here and there, another crown, etc.. I used to live in W. Orange and originally saw him there. Now I drive 30-35 minutes for my visits. Well worth it. The staff is great. I am always seen at my appointment time, never kept waiting. Services, equipment, treatment are cutting edge. He is the best.

Went for a consultation/second opinion. The office staff was very pleasant and after speaking with Dr Goldstein, confidence level is very high! Did not feel rush at all and every question that could be answered was. Highly recommend looking into when services are needed. Future reviews to follow... Dr. Goldstein was very thorough and explained in detail the procedures I am having done on August 30, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. My only concern is that I would appreciate Dr. Goldstein and assistants all wear masks.

My review is solely on how I was treated by the office manager. My dentist was fine and explained everything. The manager should do a better job with calling the clients insurance company before providing financial amounts to the client. And instead of admitting her mistake, she was rude and disrespectful to me and even provided medical advice which I wasn't aware she could even do. I'm almost positive she's not licensed to do so. To the dentists of this office, you should speak to Samantha and coach her on her true position in your office.

I had a recent bad experience with a dentist. So I had my guard up to say the least. But as soon as I entered the office I felt a sense of calm. Dr. Goldstein is perhaps the best Dentist I have seen ever. Awesome bedside manner that put me at ease. Very competent and explains everything to you in a way you can understand. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. He is my go to dentist hands down!

I have been going to Dr. Goldstein's practice for over 10 years. Having many types of dental work performed by him and his dedicated and friendly staff. Given that I have anxiety from dental work ad a child/teenager, I really appreciate that I can be open to the team there and Dr. G always makes me feel comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable about how to apply Novocaine so that I have no pain. I trust him so much with my dental needs. Thanks so much to the staff for always being so helpful!!

I always had a fear of dentists before I went to Randolph Dental Care. When I booked my appointment and went, I was pleasantly surprised how nice everyone was. The dentist had a wonderful chair side manner and made feel really comfortable. I now have beautiful new teeth and am extremely happy with them. Thank you for giving me my beautiful smile again.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but the past few months of work with Dr.Goldstein and his staff have without exaggeration, been life changing. My teeth had reached a critical point that required some fairly extensive work done putting it lightly, and while I'm currently only about 1/2 of the way through procedures, I already catch my reflection and it still shocks me to see. It's been 12 years since I'd last smiled like this, and I absolutely can't wait for the end result. These people have been nothing but warm and open with how things work and move forward, all with a dash of humor thrown in, and for the first time in a while, I'm excited for these appointments. ~Pipes

I haven't gotten dental work done or check ups in years. Many years. Until I just needed to and a quick google search led me to this office and I couldn't be happier. The staff is AMAZING. The dr had a great sense of humor but also professional. I actually look forward to taking care of my teeth now. Highly recommend this office

I have had a few bad experiences with dentists in the past to the point that I would avoid seeing one for years. Dr. Goldstein has changed my mind and has put my worries at ease. I have had several appointments with his team to consult my options to replace teeth. We still have more work to go but I am comfortable returning and put my fears aside. Everyone there is very courteous and polite and Dr. Goldstein was very knowledgeable and thorough with explaining the process. I would recommend this group to anyone who would need a new dentist! Thank you for making this an easier experience for me!

Not very professional in the sense that something bad happened to me while I was in the chair. The doctor had gave me not enough numbing so I told him I was in pain and he was shocked.... As if I was lying lol. Then he finally gives me more so my tooth isn't killing me as he attempts to use his sand machine to clean out the cavity. It wouldn't work, it really hurt, Zach really wanted to use his sand cleaning tool tho. Then when I said I couldn't see / my vision was double and I couldn't stand - I kept explaining I was not okay - And in response he is awkward and aloof and ignoring me almost. I stumble out to the front desk and Samantha was nice and smart enough to notice I was unable to see or stand. Turns out the novacaine he finally gave me more of was too much and hit my optic nerve or something and caused "diplopia" . Look it up. Not permanent but very scary especially when your dentist aka Dr Zach doesn't know what's going on, doesn't care to know, and thinks you just "sat up to quickly".....like excuse me I'm 30 not 3, I know the difference. They never apologized and now they've sent out a general angry email to all their patients regarding confirming appointments. I agree you should confirm or cancel - but the amount of anger in that one email!!! Wow. Says a lot. Feel a lot better about my decision not to go back. This is embarrassing on my part but I was only going to go back because Samantha was nice. I realized there are plenty of other dentists who won't hurt me and then gaslight me and who also have nice receptionists. Goodbye 'doctor' Zachary and Dr. Dad. Good riddance and I pray you are better with your other and future patients. (Doesn't seem so tho from the incredibly angry and personal email blast they sent out.) You guys were supposed to help me and make me feel comfortable. Not this.
