Dr. Lonsbrough has been practicing as a prosthodontic specialist for over 26 years providing implant, esthetic, and reconstructive treatments. As one of the early pioneers to embrace implant dentistry, Dr. Lonsbrough provides both surgical and prosthetic phases of implant therapy to his patients. His wealth of knowledge and experience in dentistry and degree in chemical engineering, have made him one of the most sought after educators, leaders, and consultants in the implant industry.
Dr. Randall L. Lonsbrough attended The Ohio State University from 1979-1984 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, with additional studies in Petroleum and Biomedical Engineering. He received his D.D.S. from The Ohio State University in 1989. He received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from The Ohio State University in 1992. In 1994, he earned his sub-specialty degree in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, N.Y.
His publications vary from dental material research to prosthodontic and maxillofacial prosthetic clinical techniques. From component connections, to fixture coatings, to even packaging, Dr. Lonsbrough's unique chemical engineering background and dental specialty and sub-specialty training make him a highly sought out consultant during the design phase by implant companies. He has been involved with the early development of a wireless artificial larynx and a craniofacial implant system. This system provides retention for facial prostheses, bone conduction hearing devices and even hair replacement.
After private practice in Beverly Hills, Dr. Lonsbrough has practiced in San Luis Obispo, California for the past 22 years. He has been a professional musician since the age of 14. He enjoys running on the beach, and hiking. He is also the proud father of three teenagers.
Kellie is a Front office Assistant that joined our team in 2017. She is from Selma, California. Her Dental Assisting education is from Federico Business College. She has been in Dentistry over 33 years in both front and back office. She enjoys time with family and friends. Her hobbies are Traveling, camping and family time, and being a grandmother. She thoroughly enjoys to living on the beautiful Central Coast.

Hobbies/Family: Camping in Lake Tahoe, Playing hand bells at church, going to the gym, and having BBQ's with the family, walks on the beach with our Jack Russell, Bandi. 34 years of marriage and one beautiful daughter.
Karen is our Front Office Manager. Born and raised in Arroyo Grande, she is a third generation Central Coast Native. Karen graduated from Arroyo Grande High School, and then went on to earn her Associate of Arts at Allen Hancock College in the Dental Assisting Program. Karen has 42 years of Dental Front and Back Office experience in General Dentistry, Endodontics and Prosthodontics. She has been with Dr. Lonsbroughs office for 17 years and has learned and grown so much in this specialty.
When not at the office Karen enjoys Playing hand bells at church, camping in Lake Tahoe, BBQ's with her family, and walking on the beach with her husband of 34 years. Karen has one beautiful daughter and has recently welcomed a son-in-law to the family.
My name is Kaitlin Doty. I have worked at Dr. Lonsbrough's office for 1 year as a dental assistant, and have been in the field for 2 1/2 years. I was born in 1997, and grew up in Templeton, CA. I enjoy being active and spending time with my three dogs. Rotty is a rat terrier mix, Tucker is a German Shepherd mix, and Luna is unknown.
Elke is one of our highly trained RDA's. She was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. She moved to the Central Coast in 2012. She enjoys the weather and small town feel of Paso Robles. Elke enjoys visiting new wineries, reading, walking her dogs and spending time with her daughter.
Cynthia is a great addition to our back office. She is a Registered Dental Assistant. Born in Bakersfield, she was raised in San Jose, California. It was there she received her RDA from San Jose City College. She joined us in January of 2016. Cynthia has worked in dental offices since she was the age of 16. She has been wanting to work in a top-notch specialty office, and is excited to find a perfect match. She enjoys her time away from work by spending time with her family, especially her 7 grandchildren.
Brenda is our lead Registered Dental Assistant and has been with our office for over 9 years. Brenda was born in Delano, CA and raised in Orange County. She graduated from Loara High School and earned her RDA license from Southern California Medical and Dental Careers. Brenda has 30 years of experience in Prosthodontic and General Dentistry. She relocated to the Central Coast 9 years ago with her husband of 35 years, and their 2 cats. She loves living in a less congested environment and being surrounded by our beautiful countryside.

I could not be happier with my new smile! I was afraid that I wouldn't look like myself or would look fake. But I now have a perfect smile that looks completely natural! I have been getting so many compliments. Dr. Lonsbrough has fantastic attention to detail, giving very personalized treatment, and his staff is wonderful, very caring and understanding. I highly recommend this office!

With my teeth problems, Dr. Lonsbrough put a simple, reasonable plan to address my needs, and concerns. He has done an excellent job so far! The staff is excellent and everyone is terrific at making you feel comfortable and have a laugh in the office. I would HIGHLY recommend him for general dentist, and definitely cosmetic!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lonsbrough, DDS! My 20-year-old daughter lost part of her front teeth when she was very young. Actually, right after they came in. We were lucky that another skilled dentist repaired them temporarily, and they've lasted for years. This year we needed to move forward with caps on her two front teeth and Dr. Lonsbrough came highly recommended. He was outstanding! It was determined that the process would include some root canal work and he, and his office staff, walked us through every step of the way and helped us coordinate that work with an Endodontist. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of time that Dr. Lonsbrough took to make sure my daughter understood every aspect of her treatment. She was naturally nervous about the work to be done, and every time she expressed any concern, he had her come into the office and went over exactly what would happen...until she felt at ease and understood. He kept reassuring her that he would make sure she was happy with the final result, and he meant it. She now has her final caps and she is ecstatic! They look great! We are both so grateful for his patience, kind guidance and skilled technique in creating a beautiful smile! We highly recommend this DDS and his wonderful staff! Jaymie and Mom

I was not lucky that I had to do teeth implant this year. Most business practice seems changed due to ongoing worldwide pandemic. One of my friends recommended Dr. Randall. She said her whole family have been with Dr. Randall's office for many years and they are happy for the service provided. I've been visiting Dr. Randall's office for several times since then. The whole process took more than half year for implants and crowns. Dr. Randall is very competent. He took time to talk through everything I should know about the whole procedure. I am satisfied with the level of service he and his staffs provided. I'd like also mention front desk Ms. Kellie's extra help to schedule appointments. She returned my message quickly make sure all things were good. I will recommend Dr. Randall to my friends.

I was able to have major bone grafting and restorative surgery to restore my smile! I was absolutely elated with the results. Me Lonsbrough used the topical numbing followed by aesthetic and felt NO pain!!!!! I am still in the process now of more restoration but I must say, happily, I dig this dentist!!!! I have had to have continuous dental work all my life and I finally found the right dentist....Thanx

I've been a patient of Dr. Lonsborough and his staff for 20 years now, following a life event that resulted in many broken/missing teeth in the front of my mouth. My situation requires periodic rebuilding of my teeth; I've moved from crowns to implants for multiple teeth over the years. Dr. Lonsborough and the team always approach their work with the utmost professionalism and care. I trust them implicitly, and feel safe knowing that they are there for me when one of my teeth decides it's time to fail! They are truly a shelter from the storm. Thank you!

After I'd lost a lot of teeth (too much soda pop), my dentist made me a lower denture which was very uncomfortable to eat with because it was not supported by implants. My nephew, a general-practice dentist in Seattle, said I needed a prosthodontist, which was very good advice. I now have an excellent metal-reinforced lower denture supported by four implants, made by a prosthodontist in Reedley, near Fresno, where I was living at the time. Having moved to the Central Coast, I have been under the care of Dr. Lonsbrough for the past year, and find the quality of his work and his communication skills, along with the beautiful views from his office and his wonderful office staff, to be all I could have hoped for.
