As an orthodontist with over 20 years of experience, I find each day to be more exciting than the last. Every patient is unique, so each treatment plan I create is based on their individual needs, goals, and desires. It challenges me to use creativity as well as science to meet my patients hopes and expectations. It is a responsibility I take very seriously, but seeing my patients smiles at the end of treatment is my reward.

I love the long-term relationships that my patients and I develop over the course of their orthodontic care. I am given a unique chance to see many different individuals grow from early adolescence into adulthood. It is amazing each time I see a child grow up to be a healthy, happy young adult with a beautiful smile theyre excited to share.

My formal education gave me the knowledge and training necessary to provide world-class care. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and continued on to earn my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. My general practice residency was completed at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and upon completion, I decided to pursue my orthodontic specialty. I attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for my Certificate in Orthodontics and received my Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from UMD Graduate School of Biomedical Research.

As the technology and science of orthodontics steadily advance, I have remained dedicated to staying up-to-date with the newest innovations in orthodontics. Additionally, to stay involved with the greater dental and orthodontic communities, I am a member of several professional organizations, allowing me to build a multi-disciplinary approach to my patients care.

In addition to working alongside Dr. Moore with patient care, I also take and develop X-rays, pour models, make temporary retainers, and give patients instructions on how to take care of their braces. Each child I meet is such a unique individual and it is nice to talk with them and find out their interests. Building relationships with them also helps them to feel comfortable when theyre in the office, and thats always our goal.

My husband, Vincent, and I have been married for 41 years. We have three beautiful daughters with three wonderful sons-in-law and six grandchildren with one more on the way. I love to spend time with my family, travel, shop, and cook. Im also a whiz with music and movie trivia!

I assist Dr. Moore with patient care, pour and trim models, make temporary retainers, take and develop X-rays, order supplies, and help with front desk duties when Im needed. When working with patients, I try to make their experience as enjoyable as possible, whether Im talking fashion with the girls or sports with the boys. Basically, I want to make sure everyone is relaxed and happy to be at the orthodontists office.

I have two terrific daughters and two equally terrific sons-in-law who have given me six grandchildren who always keep me busy. I love to watch my grandsons play sports; I am their biggest fan! Other than that, I enjoy knitting, reading, and taking the occasional trip.

I have two wonderful sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, two amazing grandsons, and one grand puppy. My free time is spent reading, walking, traveling, and anything and everything to do with my grandsons, especially building with Legos!
