An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Dr. Shawn Lee was fantastic! The whole team at the office was incredible too! They were able to get me an early morning appointment and see me the next day. I appreciated the fact that Dr. Lee didn't try to upsell or push additional services, he instead got straight to the point and told me what was causing my tooth pain. Will be sticking with this office for the long-term!

Hadn't had even a filling in 20 years I was impressed how with how efficient gentle and caring my dental team was. I had a crown in the furthest back molar and deep cleaning. Very pleased with everything.

Rancho Palos Verdes Dentistry went above and beyond to help me when I called their office to book an appointment. Isis, the receptionist, was able to not only get me seen the same day, she was able to get me in ASAP, even dealt with my insurance for me! I was seen by Endodontist Dr. Samyeh and general dentist Dr. Arash. Both Doctors are true professionals, kind and extremely informative. Overall, my experience at Rancho Palos Verdes Dentistry was great. Their office was very clean and updated.

I experienced the best teeth cleaning. Can't remember the young man's name but he did a fantastic job getting stains off my teeth. My 70 year old teeth look like a 40 year old smile now. Lol

If we're being honest, I don't love going to the dentist. I'm not sure of a lot of people who do. So when I went in for an emergency appointment I was more than nervous. Luckily, the staff at Rancho Palos Verdes Dentistry are so friendly and so helpful! I have received great but more importantly PAINLESS care with not judgment whatsoever! The front office staff is so transparent with billing and broke down the cost of everything so that it was easy to understand my patient responsibility. I can't say enough great things about this practice!

If you're looking for a dentistry that is knowledgeable, inviting, professional, thorough, customer oriented, and sanitary, this is the place! My experience from my initial call to schedule an appointment to the visit during my in-person time off treatment, did not disappoint. The receptionist team was patient and helpful in getting me logged into the check-in app and through the medical history process. Shannon was gentle, thorough in X-ray facilitation and teeth polishing, incredibly sanitary cleaning before and after, and possessed a very positive disposition in spite of the multiple dental cosmetics on my wish list. Dr. Conor Jacobson models dental goals with visibly well taken care of teeth of his own (can't help me if you aren't helping yourself first:) I found him to be one of high integrity, took time to educate me on the possible cause of my "clicking", was empathetic of my dental anxiety, past dental trauma and teeth sensitivity and possesses unwavering patience which did not go unnoticed. I have already scheduled a follow up visit which would be highly uncharacteristic for me had I not been highly satisfied with the quality of care received. I feel it's really hard to find a good dentist. My last dentist stoped accepting my insurance. So I did a bit of research and went to see Dr Conner. I was not only surprised but I was thrilled above expectations! He's gentle and very thorough. I have already recommended him to all my friends.

Very disappointed. I made an appointment 3 weeks prior. I was told my insurance covers everything which was the cost of procedure, exam and x-rays. All of a sudden when there for appointment I was told I needed to get 6 injections of arrestin.. I was not offered an oral rinse. Just a super pricey antibiotic injection, which is not needed. I'm a single mom of 2 an need to plan for pricey procedures. I would not recommend this place. Honesty an necessity is the key for me.

Good dentist practice, but terrible if you have kids since they only see kids in the morning when they need to be in school. In the process of changing dentist because of this inflexibility.

Previous review: (please also read further review to understand why I increased the rating) At first this place seemed like a reputable dentist. All the technology is up to date and the dentist is nice. But the front desk staff has been billing my insurance differently than what I am paying. I am currently working to get my money back but it has taken months and countless phone calls to them and my insurance and I still have not gotten a dime back. I am furious that this is happening to me and I wonder how many other people have been scammed. Strongly advise you to not go to this dentist Present review: I have decided to change my rating on this dentist because they we're able to fix the issue and I have been sent a refund for the amount that was overcharged to me. Apparently there is a new manager and she was super helpful and was able to fix the issue with only one phone call to my insurance. I will continue going to this dentist as I feel comfortable and happy with the dentist and hygienist there. Also I now know my insurance fee schedule so I can verify what i should and shouldn't be charged. Thank you to Sowo (office manager) for making me feel as an important patient!
