Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This is a dental office I would not hesitate to recommend, and I have. The staff is friendly and puts you at ease. They also have specialist available at this location without needing an outside referral.

I went in to get a simple filling. Asked how much that would be in cash. They refused to tell me. Said I need to speak to a doctor, which costs $60. They claimed the doctor would "lose their license" if they looked at me without the paperwork. Obviously, that's redicious. There's no world a dentist would lose their license for telling patients how much they charge for fillings. This is obviously a scam to charge people $60 and then after giving them some insane price hope they stay in because of sunk cost fallacy. I should have been suspicious their ratings were so low, but at least all I wasted was my time.

This Dental office is just so kind. Every team member was very positive and handled my needs to the best of their abilities. I can also, without a doubt, say that the staff was very positive towards the team members by complimenting each other's work and helping each other out to make a patients visit fast and accommodating. As for my dentist, Dr. Lee, is such a sweetheart, very nice and and attentive to patients' needs. He makes you feel comfortable during procedures and makes sure the patient is well taken care of. As a patient I have had a great experience. I look forward to returning for routine services. I highly recommend this dental office for your dental needs.

I was told that my insurance didn't cover a procedure even though it clearly said in my insurance booklet that it was. I had to have a 3- way call to convince them. Who has time for that? Also, they said I had to see a specialist, the Specialist did nothing and said he didn't know why they referred me to him. Big waste of my time, had to rearrange work and kids pick up time for nothing. DON'T RECOMMEND. Seems like the office manager or dentist just want to get a much as possible from my insurance.

I'm really surprised at all the great reviews because what my mother went through was horrible. She had so many x-rays taken for over 40 minutes but the dentist couldn't even open them in her system. The x-ray tech had to show her how to do it. Red flag 1. Then she only took 5 minutes to address my mother's dental situation and didn't even address her loose tooth.Red flag 2. She told us to sit tight as someone will go over the costs. So we waited and waited. Nearly 30minutes later, a lady introduced herself as the financial administrator. Red flag 3.She went really quick over the costs and circled the costs for my mom to pay. It was over 6k and we left in utter shock. Upon reaching home, I called the insurance company and they told me that it can't be that much. So I read the billing codes to the insurance personnel and guess what....they were all covered by my mom's plan. The dental group even hid costs under miscellaneous codes. So the insurance company adviced me to contact Rancho Cordova dental group and ask them to fax a pre- determined bill for my mom. Rancho Cordova dental group denied to send anything to the insurance company stating that they never had to in the past. I asked to speak to their supervisor but was told to keep calling them throughout the week since she's super busy. Didn't even let me leave a message on the supervisors voicemail. My mom is still in so much pain and have changed her dental provider because I don't want her to be scammed out of thousands. Our seniors deserve better and I'm glad I went with her that day or else my mom would have been scammed. Call your Insurance company and know your plan better.

The most frustrating experiences I've ever been through about dental stuff. I had a rocky start with this office with Ortho, going through three orthodontists in my 14 months of care, postponed appointments... but my braces came off yesterday. Today the retainer feels like it's cutting into my gums. All they can do is schedule me for TWO WEEKS from now to fix it. So I have to have metal cutting into my gums for two weeks? That sounds healthy. Having your orthodontist only available on Tuesdays isn't working RCDG. I'm sad I removed my first review from last year being blatantly honest about my experience here.

Stay clear. I do not recommend. Staff needs to be educated on cross contamination before attempting to touch and put things in someone's mouth. Technician kept touching his face mask and then touched the xray pieces that go into my mouth and did not sanitize or put on fresh gloves. Not very clean. Also they refuse to do cleanings and instead only offer more expensive unnecessary services to make more money. Front desk staff is very condescending and rude, both in person and over the phone. I have had too many bad customer service encounters with this place.

Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. They do everything you need. Many times on the same day. They are willing to give payment plans. I can't say enough wonderful things about this office

Jun was willing to remove my tooth after being told i would need to see an oral surgeon. it took almost 3 hours. hats off the this place. the rest of the staff was very kind and helpful.

Yesterday was my first time at RC Dental Group for a deep cleaning with Brenda! She is super knowledgeable, kind, gentle, caring, and professional. She explained all of my concerns very well and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I really felt like she puts her heart into her job!! Looking forward to going back for my follow-ups.

Edit to update: Shortly after this review, I received a phone call from the "new" office manager, where she spent over 5 minutes trying to justify the overcharging. Claiming that my insurance didn't cover certain procedures. (My insurance has sent me the list of covered procedures, and it was covered). She was condescending, and way too defensive for being a "new" office manager. Absolutely zero accountability and Im not the only one who has been grossly overcharged according to these reviews. The services are ok, but Ive been overcharged 4 separate times. The price Im charged is severely higher than my portion according to my dental insurance. Im talking hundreds. Investigations are still open because the dental group is refusing to send records over to my insurance.

Dr. Jun and the rest of the RCD team have been nothing short of a blessing. I had a severely infected wisdom tooth between Christmas 2021 and New Years (great timing, huh?!) that desperately needed to be removed. I called all around Sacramento and no oral surgeon could get me in until February 2022 at the soonest. I was in pain, unable to go to work, and terrified about the infection getting worse. RCD got me in same day for a consult and the day after that Dr. Jun removed my wisdom teeth. I have never had any dental work or surgery of any kind before, so I was scared out of my mind. Dr. Jun and the rest of the team helped me feel comfortable and supported. Dr. Jun navigated my unique situation (I have 2 extra wisdom teeth!) and things have healed up perfectly. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and flexible to meet your needs. I've never had such a phenomenal experience before coming here and I feel so grateful!
