Our doctors, Ramon and Natalie Ortiz, want you to have a great experience each and every time you visit. Dr. Natalie has two older sisters, one of whom is a full decade ahead of her. When she was old enough to get a job in high school, she decided to join the dental office where her sister was currently a dental hygienist in order to learn the ropes of dentistry. After working there all throughout high school and college, it was crystal-clear that the oral healthcare field was a great choice for her future! As a perfectionist who loves preciseness and all forms of science, the job matched just right with her personality. Additionally, two female dentists she worked for encouraged her to follow in her footsteps, and shes still very grateful to have had them as mentors in those early days.

After completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Natalie pursued her dental doctorate at Creighton University School of Dentistry. Following graduation, she has striven to take as many continuing education courses as possible to keep her clinical skills sharp! Some of her biggest focuses include Invisalign and new technologies like CEREC and digital scanning with iTero. She is currently a member of the following dental organizations:

Dr. Natalie and her husband Dr. Ramon Ortiz met in dental school, and they moved here to create their very own dental office while also raising a family. Today they have three daughters (Raylan, Harper, and Everly), a dog named Mio, a cat named Bella and two guinea pigs named Bob and Marvin. She ADORES her daughters, and they spend as much time as possible together outside of work, traveling or visiting extended family in Washington State, California, and Colorado.

As for personal hobbies, Dr. Natalie loves working on her yard outside, enjoying a book on the patio, swimming in the summertime, going to music concerts with Dr. Ramon, and watching movies/playing games with the whole family. Relaxation and rejuvenation are very important to her, and she exercises regularly to set a good example for the kids of a healthy, balanced life.

For nearly 15 years, Dr. Ray has been blessed to work alongside his amazing wife, Dr. Natalie, and serve patients in a profession that he truly loves! He is also a firm believer that dentists need to grow with the field over time, which is why he regularly furthers his education through state-of-the-art training and takes the time to ensure that his patients are receiving the most advanced and thorough care possible. Some of Dr. Rays earliest memories in life are of wanting to become a doctor just like his father. His parents have always been a guiding force in his life, and he went through every stage of school simply KNOWING that he was going to be a physician someday. However, after completing his pre-requisite courses in college and starting his medical school application, he finally had to admit to himself that the career didnt feel like his true calling in life.

Dr. Ray was very nervous to tell his parents about his change of heart, but his dad was actually happy to hear it and told him that he didnt want him to be a physician unless it was something he truly wanted. After deciding to change course, he spoke with a dentist back home who inspired him to look into oral healthcare instead. What he found was a profession that called to the parts of him that held so much curiosity in physics, art, engineering, chemistry, and biology! Working in dentistry would allow him to care for patients in the way that he hoped someone would care for him and his family in turn, and all these years later, he still feels absolutely certain that this job is what hes meant to be doing.

Dr. Ray completed both his undergraduate degree and his dental doctorate at Creighton University. Following graduation, he took additional courses at the prestigious Spear Center in Scottsdale, AZ. He also trained through Dental Implant Seminars and with CEREC Doctors. Today, he is a designated trainer for Patterson Dental and Sirona regarding CEREC technology and procedures! He teaches other dentists how to properly use the chairside software, hardware, and clinical instruction to create amazing restorative solutions for patients in need.

Dr. Ray is blessed to have an amazing wife in Dr. Natalie and three wonderful little girls named Raylan, Harper, and Everly. Theyre sweet, hilarious, kind, and all very confident about who they are in life! Spending quality time with family is his top priority outside of work, and they do all sorts of fun activities together like playing board games, putting together puzzles, and watching movies. As for personal hobbies, he enjoys listening to 90s alternative rock, landscaping, and playing guitar. He was also born in Boston, so hes a DIE-HARD New England Patriots fan and has a good excuse for it! Its okay if you want to give him a hard time about it, though.
