Dr. Rami N. Ghorab attended Virginia Common Wealth University to earn his second dental degree after graduating from Misr University of Science and Technology with a doctor of dental surgery degree in 2006. After dental school, Dr. Ghorab decided to further his education and clinical skills by completing a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Ghorab is highly trained in trauma management, complex extractions and certified in Invisalign. He is also qualified for IV sedation certification. Since 2014 Dr. Ghorab has been practicing in private practice in the Arlington area serving patients of all ages.
Dr. Ghorab strongly believes in giving back to the community by volunteering his time in Community Dental Clinics. He has also participated in many projects such as Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile and abroad in Jamaica. During his free time, Dr. Ghorab enjoys spending time with his wife and their energetic puppy Bailey, swimming, traveling and going out with friends and family.
Aliya Whiteman started her journey in the dental field two years ago. While working full time and being a mother to three, Aliya achieved her goal with graduating her top of her class and becoming a certified dental assistant. With ambition and determination, she is constantly seeking ways to advance her skills. Aliya is now working towards going to school to become a dental hygienist. Her main priority is to educate on oral health and maintain the health of her patients. Outside of work, Aliya is always spending time with her family. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, doing arts and crafts with her kids and taking time for herself with a good read. She is known to always make the best out of any situation, and you can always count on her to make you laugh.
